The reviews are correct... This is a lovely, quiet, relaxing inn. We've stayed many places in Volcano over the years and this is now our favorite. Our room was spotless, the bed super comfortable and breakfast just a lovely treat. Having a small kitchen is a real plus. Can't wait to go back.

Lotus Garden Cottages are luxuriously appointed in an oriental style. My wife and I stayed for three nights in the smallest cottage and found it to be very comfortable and well maintained. John is a very nice host providing a tropical breakfast each morning at your cottage. We were there to explore Volcanoes National Park which was an easy 10...

Nestled in the rainforest gardens, this retreat is a remarkably cozy place to relax after a hard day at the volcano. Our suite was decorated with everything Japanese, and the bed was really amazing. While we were there the weather was quite foul, but we still soaked in the spa, sipped wine and made the big decision of the day,...

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. From the cottage we were but a short driving distance from the park which was truly the reason for our visit. Because of the location in the jungle I had thought it would also be a quiet, peaceful spot. This was not...

My wife and I recently stayed on Lotus Garden Cottages and enjoyed it immensely. John was a pleasant and accommodating host. The cottage was well decorated and the bath was large and enjoyable with separate shower and jacuzzi tub for soaking in epsom salts after long day hikes in the park.

Wonderful and peaceful B&B in Volcano Village! Wonderful breakfast, comfortable beds and amazing hospitality from innkeeper John! Loved visits from Chu Chu the cat as well. Much happier staying here verses Hilo last time we visited the Big Island.

We stayed in the White Lotus Suite for two nights, using the Lotus Garden as a base of operations for our explorations around Volcano. The room was immaculate, and the large ensuite with spa bath looked brand new. In fact it was hard to get my wife out of the bath so we could go explore! Lots of nice touches...

Lotus Garden Cottages may be the most restful place I have ever stayed. My husband and I drove around the perimeter of the Big lsland for our honeymoon, and we stayed at multiple places along the way. Lotus Garden Cottages were easily the most enjoyable place that we stayed on our trip, and neither of us wanted to leave. The...

We stayed one night while visiting Volcano National Park which is a 5 minute drive from the cottages. We rented two units, one for our two teenagers and one for us. Though small, Both were in beautiful shape and wonderfully decorated. All details from the bathroom to the silk sheets on very comfortable beds were excellent. Each had a private...
