We stayed for 2 nights at the Lava Pond Lodge on our tour of the big island. The house is located just outside Volcano National Park. The accommodations and amenities were great. Lori provided a filling tasty breakfast, terrific conversation and great recommendations on restaurants and must see sights.

This is an adorable B&B in the middle of a tropical rainforest. We stayed in the Enchanted Forest private room with it's own bathroom and a nice balcony where you could hear all the forest sounds. The host was friendly but not overbearing and she had an incredible free breakfast everyday with fresh, local fruit, quiche, and a variety of...

We stayed at the Lava Pond lodge in December 2016. Despite having terrible weather for our visit and being unable to go to the Volcano's National park, Regina made us feel less homesick and gave us great tips for other things to do and see. Being Christmas time we felt at home and like we weren't missing out on that...

We stayed at the "Enchanted Forest" with our three kids while in Volcano NP. The distance to the NP was great, 5 min by car. House is as the rest of Volcano Village in the middle of the rain forest. The room was great with enough space for us and enough beds for the kids to sleep. All very clean...

We stayed in the wild ginger suite during our visit in February 2017. The common areas and room were very nicely appointed and Lori our innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. The location was close to the park but down a little back road. I would defiantly recommend it as a good place to stay.

We spent 2 nights in the Enchanted Forest Room (which was an upgrade from the one we had booked.) Very pleasant room with a comfortable bed. The towels were even nice-not those rough hotel ones. Breakfast had a variety of breads, fruit was terrific and our fellow guests pleasant and friendly. Lori made us feel at home. We are only...

We stayed here two years ago and I wrote a glowing review at that time. We stayed again in January, 2017 and we were aware that the B&B had changed hands in the interim. The great news is that it is delightful as ever and the new owners are terrific; helpful, caring, and carrying on the high standards we’d appreciated...

My husband and I stayed here during the New Year's Eve weekend. We loved staying at this B&B. Regina and Darius were so helpful in sharing their knowledge and helping us plan our daily activities. Their kindness, enthusiasm, and generosity were infectious! We stayed in the Enchanted Forest and adored the coziness of the fireplace, bed warmers, and decor. Every...

I spend five nights in the “Wild Ginger” room in the “Lava Pond Lodge” in December 2016. The whole stay could be described using simply one word. Fantastic!! I felt like home and being integrated in the family. The housekeepers Regina and Darius are gorgeous. You could expect a great breakfast with fresh fruits and special items every day and...

We stayed here because this place is literally 10 mins away from the volcano national park where we got to drive up at night and see spectacular lava sights. Regina was very friendly and gracious. Our room was very well set up with a light music playing in the background, a dossier of helpful info on all things in Volcano,...
