My 27-year-old daughter and I spent two nights at the Volcano Inn in mid-May, 2014. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfasts were fresh and tasty, mainly fruits and breads. The coffee was hot and strong. The whirlpool provided a nice place to relax after a day of hiking across lava rock in the national park. Volcano National Park...

We had a room off site for our family of five. Very clean and comfortable and only one mile from volcano national park! The breakfast was filling and healthy, and the hostess was so sweet. She even packed up extra banana bread for our 4 1/2 mile hike around the crater! You have to try the Thai Food truck parked...

We stayed here while visiting Volcano National Park. The room we stayed in was just outside the park. It was across the main road, a few blocks from the office. It was excellent. We had a corner room with large windows that looked out into a sort of rain forest. The room was very clean and neat. They also had...

We stayed at an off site room. It was a duplex with no one on the other side. To get to the room was a short path that showed as the rain forest it is. We got a room with glass on 2 sides of the corner. BEAUTIFUL! The papaya / yogurt breakfast was a treat and Aly (sp?) was...

I had a corner room with large windows looking into beautiful green fernery. The room was great value and the location extremely handy for exploring the national park. Unfortunately one thing that let this property down was the bedding and towels which smelt damp. Despite this I had an enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this property.

We loved this place. The rooms were just right and well priced. We had a corner room that has large windows in back with wonderful Hawaiian foliage views. The complimentary breakfast was a treat. The breakfast hostesses were extremely friendly and helpful. They have many hot tubs on property which is great after long days of hiking and sight seeing.

We choose this B&B because it was so close to the national park. This made it easy for us to go two evenings in a row to the park to watch the volcano. We had a room in the original location and had a nice view on the tropical garden. There are only a few dining options in Volcano and...

You will not be disappointed you stayed at this hotel while in Volcano. Staff are friendly, there is the cozy upstairs with foyer and comfy sofas, dinner table, coffee and half the rooms are downstairs. The great glass windows that surrounds the dinner tables are fantastic and adds to the charm of what looks like vacations in a cottage. The...

A wonderful quiet, CLEAN, friendly place to stay just minutes from the Hawaii National Volcano Park. The Volcano Inn tucked away just off the main highway in nicely manicured, jungle like, tree ferns and anthirium plants throughout the property. Clean rooms, hot coffee & local papayas for a light morning treat before going out exploring for the day. The 2nd...

The main advantage of staying in Volcano village is its great location just next to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park entrance. However accommodation is pretty expensive in Volcano, and eating options are very limited. Budget conscious travelers may prefer to stay in the charming town of Hilo, a 40-minute drive from Volcano. I chose the Volcano Inn based on its...

Volcano Inn's original location is only two blocks across the highway from our newer office location where guests check in. The original Volcano Inn location is where all of our most popular and premier rooms are located including the corner window rooms. Beautifully tucked into natural rain forest, the units have been attentively landscaped back to the native Hawaiian flora...
