Only 3 miles from Volcano National Park so easy to go see the lava flows day and night. And the cottage...lovely and secluded with private hot tub and outdoor shower. It's for couples only, just the one bedroom that only fits a queen bed. Two fireplaces, one outside and one inside. It was classy, nothing cheap. They've thought of everything-...

This is a hideaway that's at a secluded end of an avenue leading off from the volcano village area. It's privacy and sense of peace and quiet is unparalleled in my experience till now. My husband and I absolutely revelled in the romantic misty and forested surroundings. The luxurious outdoor jacuzzi was a welcome balm to sore muscles. Enough thanks...

Mahalo for a wonderful stay at your Wahi Malie (place of calmness). We enjoyed hiking and other activities during the day and then retreated to the Volcano Mist Cottage in the evenings. We loved the secluded outdoor hot tub. We got takeout food from Thai Thai close by in Volcano Village and enjoyed it on the covered lanai while we...

This charming property and location will leave you with lifelong memories. A perfectly positioned cottage deep in a lush rainforest provides the perfect ambiance. Once you have the fire going and hear the rain drops on the roof all of your senses will be completely immersed. It is one of those special places we feel blessed to have found and...

My wife & I spent 3 days in the Volcano Mist Cottage in August and were completely bowled over by the romantic surroundings and heavenly(literally) beauty of the place. It offers complete seclusion and privacy with only the sounds of nature to disturb you. Located at the dead end of the 9th road, the house is tucked away in a...

When we booked this place, we had no idea that where we would be staying was a really sweet tiny cottage in the middle of a temperate rainforest ... not that there was any lack of information, it is just you don't realise what an incredible environment this cottage is situated in! Other reviewers have noted it charm: we loved...

We loved our stay at Volcano Mist. It's at the end of a long dead end lane - total privacy. The cottage is gorgeous inside and out. All timber framed and very cozy. We used the wood fireplace inside, the one outside was broken from all the rain we'd had recently. However we still did enjoy sitting out on that...

This was our third stay at Volcano Mist, and certainly won't be our last. At road's end In the midst of tall ferns and flowers, all you'll hear is the sound of songbirds. The cottage has a full kitchen, a living room and bedroom. There is a hot tub under a pavillion a few feet away. Five minutes from Volcano...

We stayed here on the recommendation of the owners of Ho'oilo House (another great place on Maui). This is a lovely cottage tucked away in the rain forest within 10 min of Volcano National Park and about a half hour from Hilo. The lanai and outdoor hot tub/shower are fantastic. This is a very restful and restorative place to stay...

Awesome Location! The cottage had every amenity needed and more! The owners went out of their way to create a rain forest retreat. All of the personal touches were very much enjoyed...would definitely stay there again. 10 minutes to the Park was perfect for all of our adventures.
