Petra prepared great breakfast and provided super friendly service and helpful tips for our trip to the volcano lands. It's the perfect location to go on tours to see the lava from land from Kalapana or from boat with lava ocean tours starting at Isaac Hale Beach Park. We enjoyed our tidy rooms and the beautiful garden surrounding it.

Wonderful huge garden with various wonderful trees, tropical plants and even orchids - a botanical garden would love to have such an area. Comfortable room with all comfort. We had the pleasure of staying in the studio room. It was nicely appointed with everything we could need or want. Petra, the owner, was delightful. We enjoyed visiting with her at breakfast. Her gardens are simply amazing. At night the wildlife sings you to sleep. There are frogs and birds that make noises I have never heard before. This...

What a wonderful place to stay! Petra is such a great host. She'll cook up a great breakfast with a lot of very fresh fruit, much of which comes from their own property. Think passion fruit, banana, papaya... She'll also provide great advice for sight seeing or anything else you have your heart set on. I stayed there three nights...

We drove across the island to see the lava flow into the ocean and a friend referred the Hale Moana for overnight accommodations. We loved the place. I felt like I was at my aunt's house and really enjoyed the enclosed room where we enjoyed breakfast. Petra was very gracious and passionate about the area. It would be nice to...

I spent 2 nights in this gorgeous B&B. My room was very clean. Petra gave me a lot of useful tips to plan my journey! I had a fantastic time at the volcano national park which is only 30min drive from there. The breakfast included fresh fruits. Her banana pancakes are very yummy!!!

We just spent four nights at Hale Moana Bed & Breakfast in late May, 2016. We had a completely lovely time. There were four people in our group: myself, my husband, and my two young children (a nearly 2 year old and a nearly 5 year old). We stayed in the Lanai Suite, and it perfectly suited our needs. The...
