The Ohai House Bed and Breakfast is the perfect B & B for anyone visiting the Big Island. Although a little hard to find, Rick and Cindy’s directions were perfect. Its location is wonderful for visiting the Volcano. It is off the “beaten path” that puts you in the middle of the Big Island’s tropical paradise. The breakfasts are outstanding....

Located off the beaten track but near to the volcano and highways. Cindy reserved a table at a local restaurant for us when we arrived after 7 pm. We awoke to an amazing breakfast. Highly recommend. We stayed over new year's eve and experienced fruit from the garden, mating frogs and all comforts of home. Nature lover's paradise.

We stayed here for several days while we were on the east side of the Island. The room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Rick and Cindy are friendly and helpful. They had items prepared that we might want or need for our excursions. The breakfast was wonderful and filling with something unique each morning. We enjoyed...

Well as always Rick and Cindy have out done themselves. We have never been to Hawaii in December and weren't sure what to expect. When we pulled up Rick and Cindy were there greeting us as always with smiling faces. As we walked into the screened lanai there in the corner was a beautiful decorated Christmas tree, it was nice...

The house is in such a peaceful and beautiful setting! It is also close to several beaches, the volcano, and other sights. We appreciated all the small touches provided at Ohia House, such as the...

This was our 4th time visiting this fabulous B&B. Hosts are wonderful, the accommodations have EVERYTHING you could need--even a cooler and beach chairs! The small town is lovely. There are interesting views of lava flows. At night, you are surrounded by rain forest and all the night sounds. True tropical paradise.

We've been in Maui/Hawaii for over two weeks now, staying at a variety of B&B. This is easily the best one: Cindy is just the most perfect host, she's kind, caring, attentive, yet discreet. The care and love with which she prepared the room for us, with such attention to details like toiletries, books, coffee and tea capsules for the...

Ohia House was a unique Bed & Breakfast because we were the only guests, by design. This allowed for converstion with Rick and even longer conversation with Cindy when she served us her delicious breakfasts. The room is large and clean and the property is beautiful. A wonderful last two days on the Big Island to enjoy the Farmers Market...
