Stayed here on my honeymoon. My wife and I had a great time and if we have the chance I would stay here again. I enjoyed the uniqueness and how eco friendly this place was. You can easily tell there was a lot of time spent in to putting this place together. Joey

I've never been to a place like this before, and I don't think I ever will! We went for a weekend and loved it. The nostalgia of staying in a VW for a room was really cool and it's a great place to get away from all the touristy things. It has the "camp trip" vibe, but all the amenities...

We spent a lovely week at Lova Lava Land. It is a beautiful place. Nice and quiet, the only sound you hear are the birds. We stayed in the jurt, that was a spesial expirience. Waking up in the big, comfy, dobbel bed, looking at the sky, was so nice. The feeling you get living in the natur like this...

I spent five days in Lova Lava and found it a very original concept. I stayed in a reconverted VW vans, and all facilities are eco-friendly (solar generator, shower, etc.) It's not on the beach, but if you have a car it is an excellent base from which to explore the southern part of the Big Island. If you are...

Lova Lava Land was a great place! Such a unique concept and beautifully executed...and green ta' boot! I enjoyed staying in Daisy, my VW bus home for the time. It is away from the main tourist spots on the big island but still gives you great access to the national parks and remote beaches. Wonderful.

Wow, what a beautiful little place! My wife and I stayed in the yurt. It was very comfy and spacious. We really enjoyed the setting; everything was consciously developed with the natural environment in mind. We had everything we needed, including a flushing toilet, a great little kitchen area and even wifi! From the property you can walk to an...

Lova Lava Land is one of those great, blast-from-the-past places you can't find anymore. The complaint items from earlier (dirty compost, torn material) visitors weren't present on our trip. The place is outdoors so it obviously goes through wear and tear, but there has clearly been someone around doing maintenance. The place looked great when we arrived and I really...

Booked this with trepidation as it sounded so different. Were pleasantly surprised how organised the 'resort' was. Even more pleased with the amenities, hot water for showers and a flushing loo. Amazing how much space there was in the vans.

Had two nights in a VW camper. It's therefore different and unusual, but though cheap the price has a $30 supplement for bedding and cleaning, so is you are only staying for one night It actually doesn't work out that cheap for those on a budget. Throughout the time there didn't see anybody. So you find your own van which...

Avoid this place unless you like to feel like your personal safety is at risk. We were harrassed at night by neighbors. No security, no amenities, might as well camp for less money.
