I loved the view and the spa style bathtub was the best. Everything is close by and Waimea is such a friendly community. Definitely we will stay again. I live this place. Don't forget to check out the local farmers market.
Our experience at Jacaranda Inn was a mixed review. We arrived and were given our paid receipt for our night's stay. When making your reservation, they did charge the credit card at the time. We were shown our room, Passion Flower, which is in the...More
We loved the individuality of the rooms and the period-esque decor. Older reviews had indicated that cleanliness was an issue, but we found the rooms very clean and well tended. The sheets on the beds were the softest we'd ever felt! Even the kids remarked...More

It used to be a bed and breakfast but they stopped doing that in 2006. However I recommend that you stay at the Waimea Country Lodge. At the Jacaranda Inn my husband and I got bit really bad by mosquitos after about a week it didn't get any better so we checked out and stayed at the Waimea Country Lodge. In the same parking lot there is a restaurant called Paniolo country Inn and just about a mile down the same street is Hawaiian Style Cafe and they to have really good breakfast.(The Cafe is cash only, but well worth it).
