This B&B is an excellent option if you are visiting the Kona area. It’s a short drive from the airport (8 miles) and downtown Kona (5 miles). The house sits high on the mountain away from all the noise with lovely views of the ocean. Our room was really spacious and very clean with a large bathroom and comfortable sitting... More

This was a fantastic B&B. We arrived late and in the dark, so were a bit turned around, especially because this was our first night in Hawaii. Ricky was very welcoming. The room was fantastic, well appointed bathroom and nice open lounge area. The view from the private balcony was lovely. The breakfast was one of hte best I've ever... More

We selected the place due to recommendations on this site and were not disappointed. A great location a little - but not too much - off the city, tucked away from the road and with this phantastic view across to the sea. Very spacious rooms/appartments, an exceptional breakfast spot on the lanai (in addition to the private balcony each room... More

We stayed 4 nights in the Kula room, and everything was perfect. The room was spacious & clean, the private lanai was peaceful & had a gorgeous view, and Ricky's breakfasts were the best! We loved that he grows many of the ingredients right there. We also really liked the location, which was cooler & much quieter (from cars &... More

Our only regret was that we only stayed one night (we were touring the island). This is an extraordinary place, high up on the hillside above Kona, yet only a 15 minute drive from the "big city". Relaxation sets in the instant you set foot on the lanai, looking over the goats and the chickens to the distant sea. The... More

We spent two nights at this B&B, high on the mountain, with a great distant ocean view. The room was really big, with a large bathroom with big and Jacuzzi tub. There was a wet bar in the room, a nice balcony, small refrigerator, lots of towels. The owners were very nice, and offered helpful tips for our sightseeing. Breakfasts... More

This was a wonderful experience and we loved being so close to all of the action in town yet far enough away for a peaceful experience when at the house. A great price for the accommodations and I would enjoy a return trip!

We had a wonderful stay while visiting Kona. The bed and breakfast is conveniently located up in the mountains, just a short drive from Kona. The rooms were clean & quiet with a private lanai. Ricky was warm, welcoming and offered great insight into the surrounding area. Our mornings consisted of a beautifully prepared breakfast using fresh ingredients from the... More

Nice small B&B - it only has 2 large suites. The breakfast is rather small but very good, the environment special (lots of coffee trees in the plantation around) and the coffee is VERY GOOD! It would have been nice to have a coffee cooker in the room. Ricky and Irina are very nice and helpful people. A nice place... More

We woke up every morning to a gourmet breakfast created from ingredients mostly sourced from our host's property. This included hand-picked Kona coffee! The rooms were lovely and relaxing. Ricky and Irina were friendly and welcoming. They were always available to help when we were planning activities.
