We enjoyed a 10 day stay in this lovely place. The two suites available are very large and nicely designed. The included gourmet breakfast is wonderful and prepared personally by Rickie, who in a prior life was a chef at Huggo's and the Four Seasons. Included was fresh Kona coffee grown on site and wonderful conversations during and after breakfast...

Hey Len, This is a very kind review. I really appreciate it. I hope that you made back home and everything is safe, with the dam and the flooding and all the snow up in Tahoe. If all else fails, we got a coffee shack in the trees for ya! ;) Thanks again, Ricky and the family

Unfortunately we can't attest to the breakfast, but the rooms we definitely can. We were excited to stay three nights but as soon as we walked in my wife's mold allergy kicked in something fierce. I did a sweep of the room and there was mold around the bathroom sink, shower, and under the mini-fridge. I a sure other places...

A private room with a balcony that feels like your own apartment nested in the hillside of Hualalai. A little difficult to find late at night, but so worth it! Amazing view of Kona as you enjoy your coffee and delicious breakfast. The host made us feel so welcome and helped us narrow down our long list of activities packed...

My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights. Spacious room, excellent shower, beautiful views of the coastline, easy to reach, 5 mins from Kona centre. Ricky and Irina are very pleasant and flexible people, and the breakfast served every morning is definitely better than you might get in most hotels. Definitely recommended!

Stay 1 night before leaving Kona. Good: The view is wonderful, the room is spacious. The place is quite, clean, close to airport. Bad: I checked in too late, at about 8 pm, left next morning at 5 am to catch for early flight. I was not able to have taxi service to come to pick me up to go...

This B&B is an excellent option if you are visiting the Kona area. It’s a short drive from the airport (8 miles) and downtown Kona (5 miles). The house sits high on the mountain away from all the noise with lovely views of the ocean. Our room was really spacious and very clean with a large bathroom and comfortable sitting...

This was a fantastic B&B. We arrived late and in the dark, so were a bit turned around, especially because this was our first night in Hawaii. Ricky was very welcoming. The room was fantastic, well appointed bathroom and nice open lounge area. The view from the private balcony was lovely. The breakfast was one of hte best I've ever...

We selected the place due to recommendations on this site and were not disappointed. A great location a little - but not too much - off the city, tucked away from the road and with this phantastic view across to the sea. Very spacious rooms/appartments, an exceptional breakfast spot on the lanai (in addition to the private balcony each room...

We stayed 4 nights in the Kula room, and everything was perfect. The room was spacious & clean, the private lanai was peaceful & had a gorgeous view, and Ricky's breakfasts were the best! We loved that he grows many of the ingredients right there. We also really liked the location, which was cooler & much quieter (from cars &...

Our only regret was that we only stayed one night (we were touring the island). This is an extraordinary place, high up on the hillside above Kona, yet only a 15 minute drive from the "big city". Relaxation sets in the instant you set foot on the lanai, looking over the goats and the chickens to the distant sea. The...
