The Old Hawaiian B&B experience was one unexpected. A beautiful home on a manicured property full of all types of fruit trees in the back yard which met the flow of Peepee Falls. The owner, Lory, prepared a delicious healthy homemade breakfast which was out of this world. We only wish we had booked a couple of more nights. It...

We had a wonderful time at The Old Hawaiian. Lory (the inn-keeper) is extremely kind and helpful, and serves the best breakfast in Hilo. Her baked goods and fruit selection was excellent every morning. The backyard is beautiful, lush with exotic greenery, and it was so nice to wake up in a quiet, residential area. I would highly recommend The...

We had a very pleasant surprise arriving at The Old Hawaiian B & B. Private entrance to suite and nice patio to relax on and enjoy a cup of tea. Reasonable price and Lory makes a yummy breakfast. One day we had an early start and a packed breakfast is provided.

Good amenities and location. Gracious host and healthy breakfast. Beds are very comfortable. We had two rooms and both had just had new carpet installed that week. This is a very good example of 1930's living high above Hilo's shore.

Enjoyed a one night stay in the Old Hawaiian B&B, Sunrise room for our visit to Hilo. The travel directions were easy to follow through and out of town to a quiet residential area. Friendly welcome by Stewart, the room was comfortable and slept well. Breakfast was served at 8.00am by Lory, it was delicious, fruit smoothie,a glass of fresh...

We enjoyed our two nights in a comfortable, clean room in a quiet neighborhood of Hilo. Very good breakfasts including pastries, eggs and some of the fruits that we were discovering for the first time in our lives. Geckos allowed on the table and even fed by other guests of the bed and breakfast were not appreciated by us. There...

We stayed four nights here and it made a great base from which to explore the Hawaii Volcanoes N.P.,star-gazing on Mauna Kea, the Puna district, downtown Hilo, and the Waipio valley. The room and bed was very comfortable and opened right onto the patio, where our friendly host, Lori served us awesome breakfasts of fresh ripe Hawaiian fruit, much of it...

We stayed at the OHB&B for one night. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood and the place is well maintained. We had the Sun Room, which was nice, but small.( and has only a shower, which did not matter to us) The backyard is beautifully maintained with a huge lawn, nice flowers and trees. The hostess Lory was...

This was a charming bed and breakfast located in a residential neighborhood between Rainbow Falls and Boiling Pots. Go to Rainbow Falls in the morning! The river that connects the falls runs along the back of the property so you can walk to the edge and hear the water. The property is amazing with many tropical fruit trees! All three...
