This bed and breakfast is a breathtaking romantic getaway hidden in lush Hilo. It is the perfect place to stay if you want to avoid congested areas, far enough away from the city but with plenty to do on the 22 acre property. The sounds of the waterfall calm you to sleep and breakfast is delicious with a gorgeous view...

This B&B (with our "own" waterfall!) was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip to the Big Island. The pictures don't do this place justice. It is truly a hidden gem. We could not believe our eyes when we arrived at the waterfall after a 5 minute hike from our room. We went two times during our one-night...

Very nice place, big confortable room, friendly staff. We loved it. The Inn is a bit remote, maybe 20 min from Hilo by a narrow road, so plan accordingly. Nice trail through bamboos, and the fall is great, easy bathing and kayaking around it.

We stayed here only a night, giving us a means to take in the rainy side of the island and to see the volcano. The bed was very comfortable, the room pleasantly cool despite no air conditioning, and the breakfast very good given our tastes (we prefer buffets to sit-down oversized offerings). The view of the falls off the back...

Our stay at the Pagoda next to Kulaniapia Falls was by far the best experience we had in Hawaii. We stayed at several hotels including The Four Seasons during our stay, but none of those places were as peaceful and serene as we found at The Inn at Kulaniapia. Jasmine and her team were welcoming, friendly, and went out of...

We were supposed to stay 2 nights but due to a missed flight, we were only able to stay one night and I'm glad we only stayed there one night. We made the reservation for 3 people and was appalled to find one of the beds was an air mattress!!! I have never seen that in a hotel/Inn or even...

OK, right off, this is a place I stayed at almost 10 years ago. Why am I writing a review? Because I still think about it all the time and hope for the day I can go back. The drive through farms and macadamia groves to get there was lovely. The view from my room was gorgeous. It's the grounds...

The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls 100 Kulaniapila Dr. Hilo, HI 96720 We were vacationing in Kona but decided to overnight in Hilo so we would have more time to learn about the volcano. We arrived at night to discover a tropical paradise on the outskirts of Hilo. The Inn is located at a higher elevation in a rain forest overlooking...

We spent our first two nights on the big island here. Arriving after dark from Kauai, we picked up our rental car and headed off to the inn, a bit concerned about its location out of the city. There was no need to worry - the directions to the property that were provided by the inn in advance were clear...

My wife and I stayed 2 nights and is the second time we have stayed at the Inn. Like most people, we went back because of the amazing view of the falls (which are great, especially on the deck at the main house). It's a bit pricey and for the price I would expect the rooms to be better looked...

Thank you for your generous rating given the content of your review. We are actively undertaking "trim and finish" work on all rooms, but it is a process. We have hired a finish carpenter to work their way through each of guest rooms, and clearly, they had not gotten to yours yet. That said, I believe I found your reservation...
