About 20 minutes south of Kona in the hills overlooking Kealakekua Bay, the area is semi rural so it is quite green with macadamia and coffee plots dotting the countryside. Ocean sunsets from the porch were awesome. In the evenings we could hear only frogs then silence. Our room was quite comfortable. Wi-Fi good. Thomas and Sharon were warm and...

So very comfortable. Hosts, Sharon and Thomas, are welcoming and full of information about what to do on the island. They take pride in sharing their knowledge of the local flora and fauna and the native fruits that are always included as part of their delicious breakfasts. Hospitality, food and views added to a relaxing visit to the 'Big Island.'

The Kona Bayview Inn is a lovely setting with beautiful ocean views. The property provides most of the delicious tropical fruits served along side of the hot breakfast entrees. The host and hostess, Thomas and Sharon are friendly and efficient; always ready with suggestions of sights to see. I plan to return with my husband for another stay later this...

Our hosts Sharon and Thomas were helpful in all ways for getting around the Kona area. They planned breakfast around our schedule and were most helpful in making sure our rooms met our special needs. Their atmosphere is casual and friendly. The sunsets were beautiful from their front lawn. We never felt rushed and we were rested and relaxed. A...

Everything about Kona Bayview Inn was excellent. Rooms are nicely decorated and spotless. Breakfast is a pure delight. The fresh fruit was really a nice touch and the main dish was always "the best". Beautiful place. Will go again.

This place is a gem. The Inn is surrounded by fragrant Macadamia trees, has panorama blue-ocean views, and features a beautiful symphony of chirping birds as an alarm clock. Warning - The included breakfast may be a life-changing experience for some. Enjoy. And yes, we did Whales from the Lanai..

My wife and I stayed for three days at this B&B and had a great experience! Being located in Captain Cook makes it easy to travel to both Kona and Hilo. Thomas and Sharon were excellent hosts. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. We arrived at the B&B late, around 11:00 pm and Sharon stayed up to welcome us....

Kona Bayview Inn B&B was the best place we stayed while in Hawaii. Stayed in 6 different faculties on three different islands. This was the best. It overlooked the bay and Captain Cook Monument could be seen from this location. Thomas and Sharon were so hospitable. The breakfast of fresh fruits and French toast berry cake were outstanding. Wish we...

This lovely B&B is nestled on the cliffs near Captain Cook. The view is good for the soul, especially when you sit on the lanai as the sun sets. I passed many happy hours out there, soaking in the fresh air, taking pictures, and cracking fresh macadamia nuts. We stayed in the Hula room at the far end of the...

Aloha and thank you for your feedback. We enjoyed getting to know you both and hope that we will meet again one day. We are so glad that you enjoyed our little piece of paradise as much as we do. That view just never gets old! You are right about the winding roads and steepness and it is a good...
