I had looked at Lucky B&B before booking, but once the farm was mentioned in an article in the NYTimes magazine, I thought, "The secret's out. Better book immediately." And I'm so glad I did. Coming from the East Coast - the land of quaint, charming, antique-filled B&Bs - the Coffee Barn was a fun, adventurous stay in a lush jungle...

My family had a great stay. The breakfasts were good using local (some right from the premises) fruit. Conversation with the other guests at the breakfast table was a big highlight with good info being swapped. The room was ready for all four of us when we arrived, including enough towels. Everything that we needed for our stay was readily...

My husband and I stayed in the Farmhouse Room for 3 nights. We really enjoyed our stay here and cannot say enough about the innkeeper herself and the way we were made to feel right at home from the beginning. This is an affordable stay that provides not only a clean room and breakfast but also an usable outdoor kitchen,...

We recently stayed at the Lucky Farm and found it acceptable. The breakfasts were variable, some marginal, but the environmental surroundings were very nice, except for the constant traffic noise since it is right on Route 11. The room was adequate with lots of ants that don't bite but appearance of them in the room was distracting. Our room did...

My daughter and I stayed in the garden room for four nights, and it was a wonderful, comfortable experience. Johnsie is delightful--and a very good cook! The farm is lovely and has a lot of wildlife, including feral chickens, so expect rooster crowing from time to time (the accommodating innkeeper even supplies earplugs!). It's nice to be off the beaten...

We stayed in the coffee barn for two nights. We enjoyed our stay, but it is very rustic. The property is nice. There are papayas, bananas, coconuts, avacados, coffee beans, and all the mac nuts you could imagine! You can help yourself to anything that is ripe! Our favorite was the HUGE avacados (larger than grapefruit!) The innkeeper is also...

Fantastic greenhouse rooms - a really unique experience! These rooms are rustic, with screens, not glass windows and you are right in the middle of a lush jungle garden. The rooms are simple, but they are also very clean and inviting. Breakfasts were fantastic. The caretaker is a truly nice woman. I will go back!

We spent two nights at the Coffee Barn at the end of July (I spent my 50th B-Day there) and if we had more time we would have stayed longer. If you remember that this is high-end camping and not a resort you'll love your experience like we did. Expect a few bugs, enjoy the outdoor shower, beautiful landscape and...

I have staid both in the upper farm house & in lower Greenrooms. Upper farm house room is cozy for one but be aware late & early traffic noise from the road above may bother some guests. The lower Greenhouse room (screened in construction) is the way to go. Lots of Hawaiin plants and cozy accomodations. Nita the proprietor is...

If you want to feel like you're experiencing the real Hawaii, this is the place to stay. If you want antiques, fine china or a sterile climate controlled room, look elsewhere. My family stayed in the 2 "Greenhouse" rooms, which are screened rooms surrounded by profuse flowering tress, papaya tress, macadamea nut tress. etc. Yes, they're rustic and I used...
