Detailed Reviews
My wife and I checked-in late afternoon on 7/24. The lady in the motel office was very friendly and showed us our room, explained how things worked and made sure we were happy with it. Even though this is a throwback to the "old motel, outside entrance, with an actual key on a plastic tab w/ the room number on it" type of place, it was very clean and had a comfortable bed. When my wife went to the office to ask the lady how to make a long-distance call with the room phone (Mint mobile cell service was non-existent here) to our daughter, she let my wife use her phone, which was very kind.
The only place to eat on a Monday night was the Longhorn Saloon and it was very good and only a block away. There's no breakfast at the motel, but a restaurant right across the street (Uncle Louie's Diner) opens at 6; we headed out to Devil's Tower earlier than that so didn't eat there).
Would highly recommend this motel for its cleanliness, comfort and value.

Older motel but very nice and clean! The bathroom was larger then normal with a nice shelf to put your things on. The towels were folded in animal shapes making you think you were in a posh hotel or on a cruise. My kids loved them! There was a table and chairs, dresser, and plenty of plugins! The room didn't look like a hotel room. It was decorative and pleasing to the eye. You won't be disappointed!

I normally avoid motels because I’ve been to some pretty bad ones, but I was so impressed with Arrowhead! My brother and I needed a place to crash for just one night during a cross-country road trip. We called around 10:30pm and a friendly receptionist answered, telling us they had one room left and that our dog was welcome with a $15 fee. The receptionist was actually the owner, and he was very friendly and showed us to our room when we arrived. The rooms were recently updated with wood floors (no scary motel carpets), new beds, soft sheets and towels, and a spacious bathroom. It was amazing to get a good night’s sleep on our way back home. Would absolutely stay here again, if I was ever in the area!

A very strange experience from the beginning. I read reviews about this hotel on Google which spoke highly of the hotel’s cleanliness. Yes, at a quick glance the room appeared clean but once you get a whiff of the room, turn on the lights and check out the peeling wallpaper you’ll understand the difference between surface clean and deep clean. The room had a weird odor, a mix of an elderly couple’s damp basement and a wet dishrag you forgot about before leaving on vacation. I’m certain that in the weeks following the remodel of the hotel, it looked great. You can tell that the wallpaper, furniture and fixtures were not meant to withstand commercial use and disinfection. The possible additional charges, listed on a piece of paper, were comical. The weird well worn towels folded into, what I can only assume were meant to be, swans were a peculiar touch that made the gentleman that checked us in seem even more odd and creepy.

Room Tip: Plan to eat out and don’t bring the leftovers back. Steep fee for “cooking in the room”.

We were traveling with our new puppy and found this place because it was dog friendly. The rooms are cute and have WiFi and tv. Our office attendant was very friendly and gave good suggestions. The place is older but has the bare essentials. The only thing I would suggest is bring a spare towel since the ones they have are tool fluffy and cotton gets everywhere.

This is an old motel in a little town. Very clean rooms, no smell! Very small bathroom. They have tried to update rooms, like hard surface flooring, USB ports, nice TVs, refrigerator and microwave Walk to shops and restaurants. Try Long Horn steak house . Very good!
The bad? No breakfast service, no ice machines. The towels are not absorbent! I think they wash them with tons of fragranced fabric softener. Could not dry off after showering!

The room was clean and extremely quiet. There was no vacancy in the motel the night we stayed and most of the vehicles in the morning were not in the lot the previous night. Didn't hear anything. Beds were comfortable. The individual we met checking in the room walked us to our room to insure we were satisfied with the condition. Excellent customer service as he also suggested a place to eat in Sundance that was quite good.

We were lucky to find a motel that accepted our 2 pets. The fee per pet was $25.00. The room had been somewhat updated. Paint and accessories. Pillows were less than stellar. Flat. The towels were rolled into a swan decoration and put on the bed. When we unrolled them they were damp. Not much use for damp towels. The water pressure in the shower was inadequate and the pipes made noise. Owner was friendly. We were not informed about any breakfast or coffee in the am.

I love how the owners kept this place up. The rooms were very clean with up to date furnishings. The beds were comfortable. The towels were super soft to the point that lint was left on your face after using it. It's like they overused on the fabric softener. But that's just a nitpicking detail. The owner, Will, was very nice and accomodating. This is the place to stay for visiting Devil's Tower. It was just a short drive from the motel.

We asked to see the room and it was okay. I was kind of grossed out by the used soap in the bathroom. 🤢 the towels in the bathroom were brand new. Meaning they had never been washed. You know what that means? Towel fuzz all over your body! Two lights were burnt out in the bathroom so it was rather dim. The room had a bit of a smell to it, which permeated our luggage. Overall, it wasn't horrible and the staff person was friendly and very knowledgeable of the local restaurants.
