Somehow I seem to always end up in Rawlins when the weather is inclement. This park can tolerate it all. This time it snowed and froze overnight. We had no problem with any of the utilities, including the water. The wifi was the best I have ever encountered in any RV park ever, including the two down the street. If... More

We stopped here for one night....easy spots to pull into with a large RV, Spots were clean, picnic table included. Our site had a view of the trains coming and going thru the valley ( RV park sets on a hill ) which was kind of neat to watch. Train noise didn't bother us either.

Great views, roomier flat spaces, showers were clean and very roomy. Cute mini golf course with lots of animal cutouts. Nicely decorated, well cared for park. Quaint country ambience. Free morning coffee!

We drove to the other campground on the same road and did not like the looks of the campground so came back to Western Hills and I'm glad we did. While it is not a resort and yes it is an all gravel lot, the young lady who checked us in was very nice, the sites are larger than other... More

This campground is one of 2 on Wagon Circle Road. We went to the other one first (Red Desert Rose) and decided we had to move (see review of Red Desert Rose). This campground is very spacious, with lots of room between sites and wide, easily maneuverable streets. The utilities are easy to reach (our site had 2 sewer connections, depending... More

Large RV campground with lots pull-thru sites. Wide, open pull-thru spaces for coaches with multiple slides. Easy to get a 45 ft coach with tow in & out of. 3 dog pens with not much grass, but it's pretty darn dry in this area. Clean laundry facilities and VERY clean restrooms/showers!

There are 3 RV parks in Rawlins, WY, this is the best but still out on the plains. The wind blows constantly. The price was fair for a pull through, W/E Sewer 50 amp at $36 with Good Sam discount. Power was fair water was ok. The lady that checked us in was sure we didn't have a reservation but... More

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly. Ground clean. Basically a huge gravel parking lot....BUT... for this part of country with constant wind, prefer that to dead grass and dust blowing. Showers were some of the nicest we have seen at a campground. Little close to interstate so a little constant traffic noise. Maybe a sound barrier fence might... More

Gravel level parking lot. Pull through sites. Full or water/electric sites. Clean restrooms. Stayed because of high winds. Close to I-80 but not on the highway. Wi-fi and cable strong. Would stay again if necessary. $33.00 a night for Good Sam members.

In all fairness, this place is clean and very well kept. It's a convenient place for a quick stay over on your way. But for a treeless, gravel parking lot that charges for everything except the wifi that doesn't work, I'd try to drive a little longer and go somewhere else. But not necessarily to the campground down the street!... More
