This is the fourth time our group has visited. Each year the amenities keep getting shaved down. No more happy hour. No more gift shop discount. I understand that grab and go breakfast only may be COVID related but pulling other things was starting way before last spring. Now this year they decide to re-use sleds from last year rather than update like years past. Anyone who knows anything about rental sleds will tell you, there's a reason that the phrase "run it like a rental" was created. These things are beat and beat badly. On top of that, the rates certainly didn't go down, so now we're paying a premium price for less than stellar equipment. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our off-trail guide, Luke (in his first year as a guide) is a complete rockstar. Great guy, engaging, knowledgeable and really embraces the customer service component of his job. Whatever he is being paid, it is not enough. Hopefully management recognizes what they have in him and compensate him accordingly. Judging by the turnover there the last few years, I'm not holding my breath. Bar and restaurant staff were hit and miss. We had some great interactions and were also treated very rudely at times. Even when there was written proof of a mistake on their part. The snow conditions this year were the best they have been in all our trips to Togwotee. It's just starting to appear that many decisions are being driven by accounting rather than providing guests with a top notch experience.

Property's Favourite Review
The gal at front desk- Bri, was the greatest to start our stay here and throughout our stay! The cabin was what we expected. We made pancakes, potatoes, bacon, eggs, on the stove hot plates. Grilled outside on our own gas grill. Everything stayed cold in the fridge. Full bath and big rooms were nice. Brought our own ATVs as covid 19 prevented the lodge from renting machines. It was a blast riding from the cabin into the mountains! Great mountain views of the Grand Tetons on the rides, even saw a big Bear which minded it’s own business! We hope to visit again and Highly recommended Togwatee mountain lodge and cabins!

Do NOT book in advance! They will NOT Work with you. We had scheduled to rent a couple of snowmobiles. Due to a winter storm that hit, our flight was canceled twice! We made EVERY effort to get there from GEORGIA, but they didn't care! We lost our $300 deposit. We plan to go now in the summer but we will NEVER use this company because of their unwillingness to help us out. It's bad enough to have to cancel a trip we were so looking forward to, but then to have them not help at all was too much. I'll use any other company but them!

We had a group of 20, booked several cabins & a suite in the lodge for 3days. They refused to put our group together, so we were spread out all over the property. Reservationist told us the hot tub was open, but when we got there, said it had been closed for over a year? The rooms were expensive, dated &dirty. The sled rental shop was the worst. Employees were unorganized&rude. It was filthy, overcrowded w/no sanitizer, no masks or social distancing. Fleet of sleds are all worn out &expensive for what you get. Their policy is for Guests to find all damages on the sled &report. All the sleds were covered in ice/snow. Plus, we didn’t think to check the Underneath. We came back, all sleds were running good. Group of guys came out w/clipboard & turned sled over & stated we did damage underneath. We never thought to check underneath before we went out?? Damages listed were max $300.00-500.00. We got the insurance, & ironically they insisted the damage was the full deductible of 1,250.00. Note: This damage could have been there before & didn’t effect the sled ability to drive? 2nd day sledding they sent us out w/1sled that had less than 1/4 tank of gas. We got out 30min, noticed & had to come back. This messed up our whole groups day. We got back @5:25 & were charged over 500 in late fees. When we stated this is not a fair charge due to their negligence of no gas. They said you should have noticed it, you signed the paperwork. Our group spent over 15,000.00 & we were all treated horrible from the front desk, grill, to sled shop. Employees are all rude & appear like they don’t want to be there. Beautiful country, but will never stay @Togwotee Lodge or rent sleds from that sled shop. They appear to be running a scam.

If you're looking for the worst snowmobiling experience ever, this is the spot! If you're foreign and looking for rasist, weak ass managers, this is definitely the spot! Staff was ok but the manager of the snowmobiling rentals can definitely use some primary education, just for starters.
