Jim, Emily, Matt, and Tara are the friendliest, most hospitable hosts we have ever met. We had our rehearsal dinner and our wedding at the lodge and it could have not been more perfect. The staff, the venue, the food, and the scenery were more than we could have asked for! Thank you for making our wedding dream become a...

High country is a well kept secret, nestled in the forest of the big horn mountains. The food is incredible, there is no menu. Call to find out what's for dinner if it sounds good to you then go. You will not be disappointed. It a small dinning room, very cozy with spectacular views. The hosts are great and will...

We just left a 4 night stay & we're sad to leave because of the amazing staff, food & scenery. Jim, Emily, Matt & Tara make you feel right at home. So much care & consideration. Anything you needed, they took care of for you with a smile. And the food... Let's just say, don't plan on losing weight during...

We stumbled upon this lodge, at 9000 feet up, on the web in our latest road trip. There is room for about 30 couples/families. It is a combination of cabins and the main large lodge. We stayed in the lodge. It was a bit reminiscent of the lodges one would find in the national parks. On our one night stay,...

I have been up here 3 times before: in the fall and twice in summer. I decided I needed one last winter snowshoe and came to WY High Country Lodge for spring break. Absolutely awesome!! Had " my" cabin, the Forest. My dogs and I had a blast with all the snow. Matt groomed the trails for us, and Jim,...

I'm not sure if 5 stars is enough for Wyoming High Country Lodge. I'm going to give Jim 5 stars, Emily 5 stars, Emily #2 5 stars, Matt 5 stars, the lodge 5 stars, and the adventures 5 stars. That's a lot of stars. Really I'm not one to leave reviews, good or bad but this place sets the bar...

What a great place! Jim, Emily and Matt deserve 5 stars because they make this place very special. They do everything they can to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. They smile a lot. You sense that like what they do and where they are doing it. Admittedly the setting is hard to beat. The food is wonderful. We...

A few friends and I made the trip to the High Country Lodge all the way from the east coast in early March this year and couldn't have been happier with our experience. To start, the staff are top-notch and are incredibly welcoming. Jim, Emily, Emily, and Matt made us feel right at home and seemed to always be one...

If you ever had a dream of a remote cabin in a winter wonderland for all your snow sport needs...You've found it. Except the cabin in your dream is weaksauce compared to the WHCL. Exceeding expectations is the ongoing theme here. The staff are the nicest people in this galaxy. I'm pretty sure The Pope and Ghandi had a conversation...

Every year my husband and i come to the High Country Lodge. The current managers are fabulous cooks, great conversation and the view is amazing. We snowmobile in and always find snow. The terrain works for all levels. The lodge make us breakfast like eggs, bacon and something baked. They pack us a sack lunch and dinner is always filling...
