It takes a lot to make me hop on a plane from the east coast, rent a truck and sled, and drive up into the mountains, but the WHCL and the Bighorn mountains keep me coming back. It was so great to return to the the lodge and the staff were once again first-class and from check-in to check out....

If the terrain, snow conditions and scenery were not enough, hospitality and the accommodations at the Wyoming High Country lodge were over the top. We had a blast exploring the surrounding area and in four days we never crossed the same tracks. Bald Mountain offers a great snow kiting destination with kite areas for any wind angle and beginner to...

Without doubt one of my favorite locations/destinations! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by all the staff. Jim, Emily, Matt and Alex are really as good as they come. Remembering who we were from last year was pretty cool too. Let's be honest, the group I head to the lodge with; all from the east coast; we wouldn't have made...

Another amazing stay at WHCL. Jim, Emily, Matt and Alex were awesome as always. Facilities were perfect. Food was amazing and the weather cooperated. Couldn't have asked for a better experience really. The word has gotten out and the lodge is packed, so book early. That being said the staff has adapted extremely well and the food and service hasn't...

We just returned from our second trip to Wyoming High Country Lodge and it was fantastic! The first time we went in the summer, so this was our first winter trip. We went snowmobiling and the views were absolutely stunning. It was sunny, the trails were awesome and we even got to see a weasel on our ride! We were...

Our party of 6 stayed at WHCL New Year's weekend 2016/2017. We were on a snowmobiling trip. Since we were arriving late on Fri. the staff plated our dinners & placed in fridge for us to heat up when we arrived. Our rooms were in the main lodge, we knew ahead of time which rooms we were in, and upon...

I visited the 2016 Snowkite Summit for a week, stayed in the timberline cabin while Matt, Jim, and Emily took care of everything from transportation to 3 amazing meals during my entire stay! My cabin was ready to go right away and was comfortably heated (especially for the -10F nights we had) plenty large, and the beds were great. Matt...

From start to finish staff were incredible on this trip! They were friendly and ambitious, always doing that little extra that made the stay special. I stayed in a cabin with a group of fellow snow kiters. Cabin was well designed and comfy. The lodge itself was warm and inviting always a fire going in the hearth of the massive...

We received a very warm welcome from Matt who showed us to our very comfortable room in the Lodge. There were cabins available as well as several rooms in the main building. Free tea and coffee were always available. The home cooked food was enjoyable and plentiful. We were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble for Matt,...

This is a really beautiful lodge in a very isolated area in the Big Horn Mountains where all meals are included. The room was very good, clean, with 2 beds. After about 6 weeks of driving we wanted a really restful 2 days but unfortunately through no fault of the owners, we did not have, because of a few families...
