So sad to read about all of the negativity referred to the "Line Shack Lodge". Almost 20 years ago my extended Family had our annual Reunion at this very Lodge. We had a wonderful time. I would also say the facility was in top notch condition at the time and cleanliness and service was at the top of the list...

My husband, daughter and myself were looking for lodging during our snowmobile trip in the Union Pass area during President's weekend. It seems as if all of the places we were familiar with were all booked. I was familiar with the location of Line Shack as it is right across the meadow from Crooked Creek Guest Ranch and we have...

This lodge has a very nice curb appeal but tells another story from inside the walls. We were stuck in a room right under the bar. It appeared to be a cancellation room. I can definitely see why. For starters we were directed to the basement to our room. On first glance the rooms were clean an tidy. then We...

We stayed for 4 days at the Wonderful Togwotee Lodge in Moran. Then we moved to The Line Shack Lodge in Dubois. Wow ! super friendly and welcoming. Thomas and the staff made us feel right at home. We had room 103 a lower level suite. It was clean and roomy. We parked out sleds right outside the door. The...

What an incredible trip. The scenery is fantastic and the wildlife is right outside the windows. Lots of snow although we didn't leave the Shack to go snowmobiling (this time). The staff treats you like family and the kitchen was more than accomodating and provided a varied menu with wonderful cuisine. It seems to be a favorite gathering place for...

This is a great place to stay when planning a snowmobile trip. The staff is always delightful and willing to help. Even if the kitchen isn't open, if someone is around they are usually willing to whip up a meal for you. The inside rooms can be noisy at times if there are a lot of people out at the...

Cater more to Bar Crowd than sleepy guests. What a great place to stay, but too bad our time at the Lineshack was tarnished with the rowdy crowd in the bar til 2-3 am every night. The rooms were so noisy with pool table balls bouncing off the floor, the loud music & yelling of the bar crowd. We had...

“Lots of windows in most of the rooms and the few rooms I saw all had access to outside. There seems to be a variety of sleeping options but the staff is friendly and can suggest what might work the best for your group”

“If you want a fun time book a room within the lodge. If you want quite time so you can sleep just book a room in the bunkhouse. They are awesome. You may just wake up with deer feeding just outside the window.”
