The T Cross Ranch, located in the greater Yellowstone area, has been providing guests with an unforgettable all-inclusive experience for close to 100 years. Comfortable cabins are furnished with rustic elegance. Fabulous meals featuring made-from-scratch breads and organic ranch-raised beef satisfy every appetite. The surrounding country is unforgettable, with the Absaroka mountain peaks soaring to over 13,000 feet around the ranch. This land has been carved naturally by water, wind, and glaciers. Horseback is the only way to see this pristine country. With a string of over 60 horses, there’s the perfect mount for every guest. Our wranglers are experienced cowboys with literally thousands of miles on horseback under their belts. This is western riding in its purest form, the way it originated, the way few people experience it.
My wife and I tripped over this hidden gem outside Jackson as we were looking for a ranch/horseback experience. Triangle C was a delight from the moment we checked in, the staff were super friendly and made sure that we got settled into our cabin...More
We went to the ranch for the first time with 3 generations. Mark & Gretchen have a wonderful policy that 1 grandparent was free with 3 generations - this made my mother very happy (she even got on a horse). My 85 year old Dad...More

We stayed her summer 2015. Scheduled one week but left early. The riding, though advertised as "beginner to advanced" is not riding at all, it's sitting. Walk only. Up the mountain and then down the mountain, every day. Horses had cracked hoofs, some were lame....More

We pride ourselves on accommodating all levels of riders and break our guests into groups of people who have similar skills. As long as a guest lets us know what they would like, we'll do our best to make that happen. If it's open riding you're after, just let our head wrangler know.
Guests are matched with a horse suited to their riding abilities and ride the same horse and saddle all week. On the rare occasions that a horse and rider are not a perfect fit, we have a herd of 65-70 sure-footed horses to choose from, and another horse will be assigned.
