Stayed here for one night while exploring Cody. Everyone I encountered were warm and pleasant. Room was clean. Free wifi fast. The water was hot and strong which was a nice surprise! I'd recommend this motel for anyone who wants a luxury motel for budget price.

Nice family owned Motel. Very clean, quiet & comfortable. Only thing missing was a coffee machine in the room, had to go to office in the morning for coffee. They do give a AARP discount, saved us $10. Would stay again.

Easy to find on the west side of Cody-rooms are cozy, location is close to several restaurants, and the staff was very friendly. There is a nice pool for kids and the hotel is pet friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Big Bear. Smallish room but contains all you need. Not far from places to eat, shops and attractions. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Cody was an unplanned stop on our itinerary but worth the visit.

Great place to stay if you are looking for pet friendly accommodations. The pet friendly rooms are ground level with doors directly to the outside. There is a great place to take your dog behind the hotel. During tourism season they offer pony ride and have a couple horses on premise. Horses are there during the off season too just...

Any time family comes to visit and needs a motel, they go to the Big Bear. Convenient to shopping and to Yellowstone, the Bear is reasonably priced, clean and comfortable, and alway friendly folks. Plus, the kids love the pony rides!

Only there a couple of hours. It was a very windy day & everything rattled, the door the air conditioner, & a metal grate thing on the wall. It felt like the place was going to blow down around us. We have since been told the wind is often like that in Cody. There was no way we would have...

An old-school good motel. It reminded me of vacations when I was a kid, including the giant bear at the front entrance. The place was clean, the rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable. The owner was friendly. Extra conveniences - like a laundry facility - made this a perfect stop for the Yellowstone part of our cross-country adventure.

Stayed here one night in November, going to Yellowstone. Excellent mattresses, clean room, very large. We were on the second floor. The motel is right across the street from good breakfast, and walking distance (AFTER drinks and steak!) from several excellent places to eat dinner. Theres a good gun store right across the street. Parking lot was clean, full of...

The hotel looks like any strip hotel found on any major road linking the cities in the West that isn't a main highway, but the rooms are surprisingly spacious and well-appointed. We stayed in a family room with a triangle-shaped bunk bed for the kids, which they loved. There was live music near the office the evenings we stayed there....
