Stayed here 3 or 4 times now, and just LOVE it! The most charming, authentic, wonderful old hotel out there... Rooms are warm and inviting...lobby, bar, and restaurant are real gems...live music on Thursday night...get there early to get a good seat :-) The best meal I have EVER had was in their restaurant...(elk medallions). Highly recommend this place...owner is...

A great old historic hotel/saloon experience. Totally authentic. Comfortable, period-decorated rooms. Reasonable. Loads of historical info. Close to Big Horn Mountains and outdoor activities. Walkable downtown.

This is an historic hotel which does take you back in time. We walked into the lobby and were awestruck at the memorabilia in the room. Service in the bar was very good, but animal lovers beware as the walls are loaded with stuffed wildlife of every sort - taxidermy is alive and well in Buffalo. Our room on the...

From the moment we pulled in front of the hotel, I knew this was going to be a unique experience. I was met by a young porter who escorted me into the lobby and showed me to the registration desk. As I walked through the front door and into the lobby, I felt as though I had walked through a...

We have stayed 2 different times. I think there is good music every night, but it is fabulous on Thursday nights. Unbelievable. It's so convenient to stay right in the hotel, even though it is very old.

As you open the door and walk into the Hotel Lobby it feels like you have walked into the past. Then, you go into the Saloon and you have definitely walked into the past once again. This Hotel has so much history and then they have pictures on the wall of the important people that have stayed there in the...

Even if you usually stay in chain hotels, give this one a try. As others have said, it is old, dated, etc. True. But how often do you get a chance to stay in a hotel over 100 years old? Room actually uses a real key! Very clean, comfortable, restored to perfection. Read each room's description, as they are all...

This hotel is so very unique and truly is beautiful. There is so much to look at and discover so take your time and really take it all in. We stayed in the Cloud Peak Suite which again was outstanding, very comfortable and spacious. The staff are so friendly and helpful and it's clear they love this beautiful place and...

Feels like you're stepping back in time and becoming part of something historical. We felt like we should be dressing in period clothing! This hotel has been stunningly nurtured to maintain its 1900's look, style and atmosphere. are you staying in a hotel or a museum? Truly awesome. Sure, it's old. The floors are way creaky, doors squeak and some...

The hotel, the saloon, the history....it was remarkable. I felt as if I was stating in a museum. Furthermore, they went out of their way to make sure I saw the unique and hidden highlights. I'm anxious to stay again!
