This little motel complex was perfect. It was quaint, clean, all the amenities needed. Backs up to hiking trail. Very close to the old downtown. The hostess was very nice and friendly. Very accommodating. Pet friendly. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

We planned a stop here on our way out West. I read reviews and booked because I wanted the kids to experience a non-chain motel as part of our road trip experience. This was a great hotel, we were going to arrive late evening so I called ahead. The owner left our keys in our room and he rooms open....

I was on a month long road trip around the US and this was one of the nicest places I stayed. The owner is a sweetheart and I wish I could have stayed longer. The location is perfect and the rooms impeccably clean and quiet.

This is a nice little Motel and it takes dogs. The hosts were wonderful and knowledgable of the area. Very clean and we'll kept up. As others have noted it is a little eclectic, but is a great value. Don't miss this one

We stopped for the night after a long day on the road. The motel was old, but it was very clean. The room was hot, but we could open the window. It was cool outside so we felt too guilty about turning the airconditioner on. Funky odor of an old building. The lobby was full of art work which was...

For the price it was acceptable. The owner very approachable and helpful, the motel room was small and the shower recess pretty small with the basin out in the main room. Bed a little saggy in the middle but okay, perfectly fine for an Overnighter. Onsite parking, quiet even though close to main road.

Thank you for the bed heads up!. I know I need to change some out. I sincerely hope your sleep was not affected, and you can be sure by end of year, there will be new mattresses. Thank you so much for the review and thank you for your business!

Trudy was great. What a refreshing alternative to corporate boxes. We try to stay in locally owned establishments that demonstrate a sense of responsibility and pride of ownership. The Big Horn fit the bill.

If you want a 4 star hotel don't stay here. If you want affordable, clean accommodations with good coffee and a friendly face then this is the place for you. We will definitely stay here again. I use a fan every night all year and loved that I could have the fan on the window unit on. This is older...

We were very thankful for accommodating our arrival after the desk was closed. Our room was small but did have two queen beds. It had some older furnishings but everything was very clean and did not feel worn out. The shower was clean and water pressure was great, towels not big and thick but adequate. The room was quiet and...

We had a trip to Rushmore. Friends recommended this place to us. We have two rooms next to each other. They are in the corner of the whole motel. Feels like we have a private porch which is decorated nicely. Every one loves it. The rooms are clean and have comfortable beds. We love the decoration of the rooms too.

Thank Qing R
