Always was something I wanted to do. After spending many hours searching for the right Working Cattle Ranch, I found the one I was looking for. I made the right choice! It was more than what I hoped for. Richard and Patty made me feel...More
Richard and Patty are so kind. This is an amazing place to go and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The horses are well behaved. I would have no reservations about letting someone with no experience ride them, plus a rancher...More
Firstly I spent a long time researching Ranches in Wyoming and Montana, my main aim was to get as many hours in the saddle each day, as I could and to experience a cattle drive, among amazing scenery. I emailed Richard at Klondike and he...More
After planning this vacation and waiting for it to arrive for more than a year, I can say that this was well worth waiting for. On our arrival, we were a bit let down by the appearance of the ranch, but realize now that it...More
My husband and I chose Klondike with the help of out travel agent for our honeymoon. John is an excellent tour guide and horseman and we enjoyed our daily rides with him and Zander. The horses are well trained and know their jobs with the...More
The Klondike Ranch sounds perfect. As we are travelling from the UK, we would like to spend a week either before arriving at the ranch or afterwards exploring Wyoming or a little further even. So we would love to hear of your travel experiences either before or after leaving the ranch - local towns, lakes, fishing, river swimming - whatever! We have been to Yellowstone which was awesome but we would prefer to see some new sights. Thank you.

I only flew into Casper and then was picked up by the owner. I would suggest that you take the history tour with Patty into Buffalo and Sheridan. The Occidental Hotel in Buffalo is a fun time night out. They have a night that local musicians come in and Jam. In the mid 1980's I traveled in and around the Town of Cody. It has a great Historical Museum Center that is huge. In the summer there is a rodeo every night. Lots of western history in this area. I hope this helps you, and have a great time at the ranch.
