Not very happy here!! Needs a makeover, small musty smelling hotel (no resort here) drab carpeting in the room and hallway. Wi-fi didn't work at all, went to talk to the front desk receptionist and told me charter was on the way and will be fixed. I'm sure she lied to me the two days I was there no wi-fi,...

Had an awesome time at the resort. Facilities were nice, clean, well kept & spacious. Located near great fishing and beautiful scenery. If you're looking for a 5 star extravagant resort, with poolside service and white table cloths, this isn't the place. But if you want a clean, safe spacious place in a beautiful setting then this is the place...

We stayed here last year during the summer. PROS: - My children (ages 7, 5 and 3) loved it. They loved walking out the door onto the beach. - They also loved the platform that they could swim to and jump off. - Your stay comes with Chula Vista passes as well. - Enough charcoal grills for everyone. CONS: -...

If we weren't staying with kids, I would rate this a 1 star. It is a small, not very busy place where the small, clean beach and a playground are literally at the doorstep. They have enough charcoal grills and picnic tables for all the guests. The manager/staff is very friendly and welcoming The place has many faults. When we...

Our first visit to this resort was just over a year ago. We have been back several times since and recently had our daughters birthday party at the resort (we rented 4 cabins & had approximately 20 of our family & friends with us). The owners are friendly and very hands on. The cabins are clean & cozy. There is...

Describe the service you experienced: - The owners are very laid back and friendly. A family affair. Tell us how you liked the room: - The room had an odor and the carpet was dirty. I kept socks or sandals on the entire time inside. - There was no DVR and only 5 channels on the TV. - The bathroom...

This is not a fancy cottage; but for a basic cottage, it was nice. The family that runs it is very nice and very accessible. They were always around and incredibly friendly. I normally stay at 4 or 5 star hotels, so this wasn't quite what I was used to, however, when I think about the fact that it was...

They use the term "resort" very loosley! The rooms smell musty and moldy. The carpets are filthy & disgusting (probably original carpet). The rooms have insects and spiders and dingy beds and linens, old school T.V.s with pirated cable, microscopic bars of soap, no shampoo, limited paper-thin towels. Rusty grills, nasty paint-chipped and dirty picnic tables, the playground is a...

“Cabins 9 & 10 are next to the park, fire pit & volley ball & are more modern & spacious. Cabins 1-5 are on the "quiet" side, with fishing & ping pong.”
