This hotel is a modern step back in time. Our room was large and very comfortable, with a magnificent spa-like bathroom and enough casual seating for both of us. Our room was away from the main street traffic and very quiet throughout the night. We loved being able to walk to the Irish pub inside the hotel, and the downtown...

Right in the heart of an exciting, historic downtown revival, the Clarke is a wonderful gem of a hotel. Every room has unique character and layout. (We were attending a wedding with friends and got to view several rooms/suites). Excellent Irish-themed restaurant on the first floor had an outstanding weekend brunch included in the room cost! This is SO much...

This hotel offers many high end features but lacks the basics! For example: The bathroom is beautiful; you get bath salts and lotion for the spa-like tub, but no soap at the sink! There is no night time staff! Wake up call? Umm, not happening. Coffee pot in the room? Well, yes, there was a coffee machine. I couldn't figure...

The hotel staff are always welcoming and nice and the hotel offers passes to a nearby Golds gym and breakfast in the morning. There are a few...

We come to Waukesha a few times each year to visit our son and always stay at the Clarke. The rooms are exceptional, the service excellent and the resturant outstanding. Our stay includes brunch and the corned beef hash and eggs Benedict are the best!

The Clarke was a great hotel stay on the center of downtown. The rooms were spacious and clean. Tge shower was huge and had five seperate shower heads. The staff was friendly and you get free breakfast to include an omelette bar. The only downside is the lack of parking forces you to valet park for 20$ a night. Valet...

We stayed here a couple yrs ago and like what the new owners have done. For the price, the room was huge. There was a desk and chair, a Keurig and fridge, lounge chair and ottoman. The furniture was a bit tired looking but the bed was extremely comfortable. As another guest noted, bring your own pillows though. Theirs are...

Like the "Disappointed" and "Very Disappointing" reviewers, we really wanted to like this hotel. After reading the positive and negative reviews, we thought we'd give the hotel a try since the rooms look very nice on the hotel's website, several folks really seem to like the place, and the location was perfect for our needs. Like the one reviewer stated,...
