Had a Groupon for this resort and thought why not. Well, we got there and checked in to an upgraded room. Then discovered they upgraded our room because they weren't going to open the pool. Come to find out we were the only ones there. Ok, so next morning we ate our low grade breakfast, and got our lift tickets...

Let's start with the positive: the hills were fairly vacant, it was like we had them to ourselves. The lift operators were very friendly. Snow conditions were quite terrible the weekend we went, but we made the best of it as you can't control mother nature. Unfortunately, that is the only positive thing we can say. The rooms and many...

My husband and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary at WhiteCap Mountain. David (the owner) and his entire staff made sure our stay was an enjoyable one. Sarah at the front desk was extremely friendly and welcoming, their chef (Cindy) made us an exceptional steak and shrimp anniversary dinner that exceeded our expectations, and the rest of the staff all...

We've been skiing here for 26 years, so we've seen it all. We've seen the heydays of the 90's. We've seen the moments in time when the bad reviews were posted and yes, there are moments in time where things weren't so good. But, 2015 and 2016, this place is making improvements and headed in a positive direction. The staff...

This trip was a nightmare. First the good part, the hill was awesome! Not busy, it was 0 degrees, but still a very nice ski hill. Now the bad...horrible service! Not a single employee cared at all, everyone was rude. Everything was overpriced, food was terrible. Waited two hours to get our food at dinner, and it's not like there...

We've been happy going to Whitecap for 5 years. This year (2014) evidence of decline was painfully evident. Our room was not cleaned prior to arrival. We had no heat or hot water for 3-days. Things were broken, kitchenette had no spoons, and only a couple pots & pans. Slopes are not being groomed regularly. Apparently there is a pending...

My family took a pre xmas trip. Stayed in the Mt. Retreat #2...perfect for 2 kids and 2 adults. SUPER clean and cozy. Skiing was VERY affordable and the slopes were AWESOME!!! We will make this our new family tradition for ski vacationing!!!!!!!!! Seriously cannot be beat!!!!

My family and I have stayed here multiple times. We love it, especially my kids! Not in the best shape, but very reasonably priced. The snowboarding is awesome! I would like to correct something though. It isn't in Montreal, WI. It's in Upson, WI.

Let me begin by saying the golf course is beautiful. However the buildings are in desperate need of upkeep and updates. Broken balconies on rooms...rotten wood. Airconditioners that rattle. No screens on patio doors. Unoperable broken dishwasher. The sad empty horse stable is a reminder of better days. There is no open restaurant on premise so be prepared.

Did the family midweek package and got a fabulous rate to stay and ski. Included 4 breakfast each day 2 nights lodging, 2 day lift tickets and 1/2 price rental. YOU CAN NOT BEAT THE PRICE! Lodge rooms are old and in need of remodeling. No worries though. Good pool and hot tub, ski in ski out. All the other...
