Stayed here Aug. 2016. rooms were clean. Took 2 hours to wake the manager to check in. Paid cash but had reserved rooms on a credit card. in April of 2017 my card was charged for $66.00 with no other contact with this motel. The charge is still in dispute with my credit card company. BE WARE OF THE MANAGER!!!

It is simple plain and sweet, a bed, a tv, a coffee pot, a deck, and a view. We have been coming here at least 2 times a year, in May and again in August. I will keep coming back, you can go to those over priced mega hotels in Onalaska or rest here, I prefer here. Food is all...

We used to stay here at least once a year. Have not stayed here for several years. Returned for one-night stay and was greatly disappointed about the condition of the hotel. Must have been a change of ownership. It is very evident no money is being put into the place to keep it up. Grounds are very rundown--the beautiful landscaping...

I was considering booking a room here but after trying to call five times with no answer and the message that the inbox of messages was full, I booked a room at a place a couple of blocks away. The motel looked ok from the outside but the train tracks are very close.

Used to stay here all the time they changed owners and went down hill. Owner doesn't answer phone during normal hours and when he does sounds like your bothering him. Don't know how there still open! Don't bother!

We traveled to Trempealeau by pontoon and parked at the marina. The ONLY reason we made reservations at the Inn is because Tim (the owner) told us he provided shuttle service from the marina to the Inn which is a mile apart. When we got to the marina, we tried calling Tim for about an hour and he didn't answer...

simple and clean, rooms look over the Mississippi near the locks. Tons of trains fly by day and night, fun to watch (but noisy). We loved it, the kids loved it. Sometimes during peak season in fall they require two nights on the weekend, but call anyways, and if they have room they'll get you in. (I did leave a...

We began calling while travelling toward Trempealeau on a Sunday, hoping to stay four nights. Continually got no answer. Tried leaving messages with our cell phone numbers, but never did get a response. When arriving in Trempealeau, we stopped in, only to find a "Closed" sign on the door with no indication of when someone would return. People staying there...

We stayed here on a perfect late Sept weekend so really nothing was going to bother us. All the rooms face the Mississippi River and is right in town. If you are not a sound sleeper you will not enjoy the very heavily used railroad only 150 feet from your balcony and between you and the river. Stay on the...

Firstly we had rung some months ago to confirm reservation but when ringing to advise of late arrival there was no reservation in file. Still we got a room arranged without any probs. The room was comfortable. Yes it is a bit quirky and worn around the edges, but it is good value and we had a great nights sleep....
