Excellent accommodation with very friendly hosts. We arrived in the evening & was made to feel very welcome. It's a very busy home with lots of laughter! On arrival we were offered drinks, which was very kind after a long journey. The room was lovely & clean & the bed very comfortable. We had a room with an ensuite, which...

Highly recommend this friendly and well run bed & breakfast. A real home from home where you mix with the owners family. Comfortable, well equipped rooms with fantastic ensuite. Beds were comfortable & rooms clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was fantastic with selection of cereals, cooked breakfast & homemade bread. All in all,a great place to stay!

For me, a Motorsport fan, this was an ideal b&b, you would be hard pushed to find a better family run business. With its location only a few miles from the home of British Motorsport, it is situated in beautiful countryside and has a wonderful family feel. So much so, I have already booked for next year !

We stayed at Kendal House over the weekend of the British Grand Prix 2013. We arrived early on the Sun (as we were staying on the Sun night to avoid all the traffic) and received a warm welcome from the owner. We were offered tea and breakfast despite not having stayed the night before and then to save us having...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Kendal House is an 18th century coaching inn, now converted into a large family home. Set over three floors, this beautifully restored building retains many original features whilst offering accommodation of the highest standard. We have 4 charming en-suite rooms available to guests. Rumour has it that both Winston Churchill and the Queen Mother have visited the property during the village's busier times. But these days our guests tend to choose us so that they can combine a visit to Silverstone racetrack with a relaxing stay in our peaceful village (only 10 minutes drive from the track). ... more   less

“We mentioned to the owners that our son, although only 12 years old, is rather tall for his age and so they gave us one of the larger rooms with full size beds which was rather nice. I'm not quite sure what was in the other rooms but we had plenty of room with a nice little en suite shower room.”
