This was an excellent last minute choice on a day we just decided to get away. It is a welcoming house with a pleasant and relaxing room with a view of Lake Michigan. Rita made us feel right at home and gave a great suggestion for dinner at the Twisted Willow. The next day she fixed a healthy and gluten...

It is gratifying to hear that guests have found their stay with us such that they are thinking of returning; we consider that the highest of compliments! And because food that is both tasty and healthful will encourage our return in a heartbeat, we imagine that everyone is so inclined. Our increased knowledge of gluten-free, low-carb diets (we, too, are...

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary and the folks (Rita & Dave) made it a weekend to remember with their outstanding hospitality. The room was fabulous & tastefully decorated. Loved the robes hanging in the bathroom and the fresh baked bakery goods left for us each afternoon! The breakfasts were healthy and positively delicious! Rita and Dave took the time to...

Our first stay at a bed and breakfast and Port Washington Inn was an absolute delight! When I called to make the reservation, Rita gave me every detail I needed to know for a smooth check-in. Room was beautifully decorated. Very nice attention to detail. Very clean and quiet. There were homemade baked goods waiting for us when we arrived....

Wonderful hosts, delicious healthy/tasty breakfasts, and very clean, relaxing rooms. We biked in the area and the owners, Rita and Dave, had great suggestions for routes in the area. We will definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay so much the first time my husband and I returned. This inn is very clean and well kept. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Great breakfasts and hospitality from the owners Dave & Rita. Stayed in the Top of the World suite. So comfortable! We will defiantly return.

Last weekend, I joined several couples for a two night stay at the Port Washington Inn. Rita and Dave, the owners, could not have been more attentive to the details they put in place to assure that we would have a great stay. The rooms are lovely and the breakfasts are delicious with everything homemade and plenty of choices for...

This lovely old inn was a calm and quiet respite for us during a rather hectic week in our lives. Rita and Dave are very kind people, easy to talk to, and they made sure our stay was comfortable. Noelle's room has a fresh sophisticated country feel and we had plenty of room for our needs. In the common areas...

I was in town for a wedding and found this online. Look no further in Port Washington. Stay here! The grounds are gorgeous - a botanical delight. Breakfast is fabulous and healthy. The "Top of the World" suite is spacious yet cozy and quiet. We sipped morning coffee and gazed "out to sea" from our hilltop, 3rd-floor perch. Bedroom was...

We wanted to cycle the local trails, so called the Port Washington Inn at the 11th hour. Were we glad we did! Rita and Dave Nelson have considered every detail for their guests' comfort, and I do mean every detail. From the welcome note to Rita's afternoon snack to the plush towels to the stocked beverage centers to the tubs...
