We went there for Bank Holiday Monday lunch. It was busy with large groups and families. The menu is a traditional Camcuisine Chop House so the food is British traditional, well thought out and good quality. The wine list is fantastic and mostly from Languedoc. There are some excellent and interesting wines at very reasonable prices. The service is good...

I guess coming from London I imagined there would be a number of good restaurants just north of Cambridge where we were staying, but surprisingly we had to look rather hard. The owner of our Airbnb recommended The Crown and Punchbowl and we managed to get a table. It is owned by the same group that has the Cambridge Chop...

I was taken here for Mothers Day (March 2017) to lunch by some of my family. What a wonderful surprise. I did not know there was a separate eating area at the back as well as the front bar area. What a lovely room, full of atmosphere. It was as one would expect very busy but I cannot fault the...

After being ejected from an atrocious "hotel" in Trumpington, Cambridge, for complaining about the squalor, filth and risk to safety and health (it's called "Anstey Hall" ---- please do NOT consider staying there!), my wife and I discovered this lovely inn. Fantastic food, friendly staff, clean, warm and comfortable. We would highly recommend a stay and are looking forward to...

The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and vibe with a brilliant lay out. The Guinea fowl main is a must try dish! Like all the Cambs Cuisine venues it's very good value for money! My only negative was with the soup of the day it didn't come with any bread. Will definitely be coming back and here is a...

We stayed for 2 nights in this lovely, friendly hotel. Our room was very well furnished - clean, warm, comfortable, lots of sockets (hairdryer/chargers etc) - with bottled water and tea/coffee making facilities. The shower was fantastic - hot water and lots of it! Excellent WiFi. Plenty of car parking space. We had breakfasts and 2 evening meals which were...

Could not fault the rooms, friendly staff on arrival and the rooms were very clean and finished to a high standard. I ate in the resturant, the food was too a very high standard and I would certainly order the scallops again! The food is rather expensive but this could be down to the pub being in a rather quiet...

We stayed here for a couple of nights and were impressed at the quality of the rooms and the service we received. Rooms were very well thought out. Great showers, comfortable beds and exceptionally clean. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had booked bed and breakfast (the poached smoked haddock was delightful) but decided to...

Friday to Sunday break and one that exceeded expectations, and as such would recommend here if you are looking to stay in the local area. Marc and his team provided a very warm professional experience with nothing too much trouble. Friday Evening Meal- lovely ambience in the pub, fire roaring to take that slight chill off, and both service and...

We went for family lunch here, some of us had been previously and the food had been very good. Even though we were only 10 people in the group we were asked to pre-order, not a problem as it should have allowed the kitchen to be organised and ready. However that was not the case. They had overlooked a number...
