Nice open spaces and easy walk to the beach! The pool is small but does the job! We unfortunately didn't get to try the restaurant this time. Will definitely be...

Had a great couple of nights at Barend however the lodge (no 5) was very tired and could do with a bit tlc. The bar was great and so was the food. Would go back but would book another lodge next time.

We went there as a family for New Years last year. The weather was terrible, dark, and flooded for the locals. Our cabin could not have been more cosy. The beach was deserted, and fantastic for the kids and the dog. The facilities such as the bar and swimming pool are excellent, and its only a short trip to the...

Accommodation really good very clean and tidy. Even little one, 3 months old, well catered for. Swimming pool good, everyone very friendly. Restaurant very good, but, very slow on the Friday evening. However staff apologised and a round of drinks on the house was well received. overall very good.

If you would like to watch badgers rooting for food below your verandah and observe shooting stars across a pitch black sky this is for you. Fantastic lodges with everything you will need, tasty food at the restaurant, and a cute pool. What more could you want?!

The wooden Chalets face a quiet lake, some even with seaview. Car park in front of each house, indoorpool and laundry facilities on site, also a Bar/Restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly, the Chalet was tidy, well and nice equipped. Excellent heating and (!) a dishwasher! We loved it.
