Our garden club had a wonderful Christmas tea/luncheon. If you have a group of 8-20 and are interested in a tea party, luncheon, or breakfast they can accomodate you by making reservations. If you feel you need pampering here's where to go. Life slows down when you walk in the door. We were greeted with friendly smiles and welcome by...

Ken and Sandy were most welcoming. The breakfast meal, as well as the way it was served was top notch and first class. They went the extra mile to accommodate us on dinner options, transportation as well as other suggestions. The home is memorable to say the least in all regards, as well as the view to in the back of...

Our third visit reminded us of how outstanding this place is! The amazing 5 course breakfast is superb. The hosts are welcoming, gracious, interesting and always willing to help make our visit pleasant. Our room is bright and cheery with a nice comfy bed. In our travels we have never found a B and B we like better.

This place is very interesting. It has a lot of character and history in it. The owners are marvelous hosts. The breakfast was outstanding. One thing that we will do next time is get a room with a shower. Not too crazy about the claw foot tub in our room and the bathroom was too small. Hope to return in...

Had a great stay in this old Lumber baron house with interesting history. The breakfast is something out of the ordinary and the advice to come hungry is a good one. Ken and Sandy could also provide a good recommendation about neighborhood pub for dinner

This was our first stay in a bed and breakfast, and I'm not sure that we will be able to stay in hotels anymore. The breakfast was just as wonderful as the reviews I had read purported it to be. Ken and Sandy were truly accommodating and shared so much information about the history of the home. What fun it...

We have been staying with Ken and Sandy for approximately 8 years. We have never been disappointed with the room accommodation or Sandy's wonderful breakfasts. They are outstanding hosts. If you are ever in the area, this is the place to stay. You will not be disappointed.

We just returned from a trip to Onalaska WI where we stayed at the Lumber Baron Inn. This Bed & Breakfast is bar none the best you could ask for. This B&B is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a beautiful work of art with craftsmanship that you just don't find any more these days. The owners...

When I read the coffee was velvet smooth - I thought, "Oh come on" but it really was!!!! So good!!!! Breakfast was a wonderful adventure that even our 19 yr old son enjoyed. We loved everything about this place - and look forward to staying again! The owners are what make it a home! Thank you!

My wife and I went to Onalaska for a wedding, but instead of staying in the motels they had referred us to, we searched for a Bed and Breakfast and came across Lumber Baron Inn. The home just had so much character and charm, of an era back in the late 1800's. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The...
