We stayed at the Milwaukee Westin and can say that the hotel was very nice it self and the rooms were okay however the staff on the other hand not so great. The front desk staff was extremely rude and made comments that came off as racist. I travel a lot and have been to several Westin properties (many much nicer than this location) and a comment was made that I probably have never been to a hotel like this before. I also asked some questions about local dining and restrictions in the area and was given very short responses with no attention or care whatsoever. I felt very uncomfortable, but I just brushed it off and decided to give the hotel a try despite the unprofessional staff working the front desk and their behavior. I don’t think I’d stay here again and I am only giving it the 2 stars I am because Victor the valet manager was great. From the moment I arrived prior to my terrible check in experience with front desk staff, until I left he was wonderful. Very friendly and professional and quick to get my vehicle in and out. He ended up giving me tons of great recommendations and answered my questions the front staff neglected to so I truly appreciated him doing that for us. Although front staff wasn’t the best here, atleast the first people we saw when we arrived in valet were awesome and more helpful than anyone else in that place.

I stayed at the Westin Milwaukee this December and having nothing but great things to say about the experience. Everyone was kind, warm, welcoming, efficient and helped me enjoy my first trip to the city! In particular, I'd like to thank the Valet team and Ryan, Duncan, & Amgad at reception. They helped me get orientated, find a great grocery store to buy local beers as gifts and made checkin/out a breeze! I'd also like to give a shout out to the cleaning staff who kept the hotel spotless and sanitized! Wonderful experience and I look forward to returning soon!

We were fortunate to stay at the Westin Milwaukee during our most recent stay in November. Conveniently located near the Historic Third Ward and other prime locations in Downtown Milwaukee, this hotel definitely stands out as one of the best in the area. Museums, breweries, restaurants, and other touristic attractions can be found within a walking distance of the hotel. In addition, everyone that works there was more than helpful and tentative to our needs during our stay, so we truly enjoyed the nine nights we spent during Thanksgiving week. Their one bedroom suite (700 sq. ft. approximately) provided the additional space needed for a long-term vacation. The living room was more than spacious, and the bathroom was incredible with a bathtub included. The heavenly bed is truly comfortable, especially after a long day of walking or sightseeing Milwaukee. I would highly recommend that you inquire with the hotel about its availability or book in advance to secure this room type. Even though the hotel is operating with certain limitations due to COVID-19, we felt safe and were more than thankful to each team member of the Westin for their hard work. Each person provided coverage in many of the hotel areas, and felt that the overall team went above and beyond to make it work for hotel guests. Special thanks to Amgad, Damon, Dakota, Michael, Brian and most importantly to Ryan and Amanda. Both of them were always happy to extend a helping hand during our stay, and truly show how much they love their job. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to visit in the near future their sister property - Marriott Downtown Milwaukee.

Our first time doing an overnight since the start of the pandemic and we wanted a quick break in Milwaukee. We got that at The Westin - very close to Lake Michigan, the Milwaukee Art Museum, all things lakefront, and shopping. Our room was immaculate and had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan, Summerfest grounds, and the Hoan Bridge. Everyone respected masking and social distancing. Easy and friendly valet parking. Room had all the necessary amenities, along with some extras like the “heavenly beds,” spacious bathroom, extra large TV, and best of all...it was quiet. (Photos show our view from the room.)

Stayed here for ten nights and it was great. Even with Covid affecting operations, the staff did not “mail it in” as many other hotels are. From check in to check out, service was top notch. Rooms were great. Bed was great and just an overall great experience. Yes, housekeeping is limited, which is not a big deal for me. But if you need something, they will be happy to assist. Restaurant was not open but bar was. I am upset I did not get the name of the young lady who served coffee each morning. What a ray of sunshine! I wanted to make sure she was recognized as going above and beyond. Hard to see people smiling with masks, but you could tell by her eye she was smiling.
