My husband and I stayed for first time during Summerfest. Hotel prices generally are higher during this event and did not want to spend $$$ just for a place to sleep. The hotel is dated, built in 1920 but that does give it some charm....More
The hotel has seen better days. Works are currently ongoing which are disrupting both the facilities (my heating wasn't working on first night) and comfort (was woken up by it).

We traveled around the Lake Michigan recently. This hotel is the worst experience we had, very disappointed. When you found three things don't work in the room and be told "impossible to fix", you just gave up to call the fourth time...
