Carol was a gracious host from the time I booked the reservation until check-out. The room was clean and comfortable with a Temperpedic bed, and beautifully decorated in typical Victorian style... busy, pink, lace and roses. It was a warm day and the evening still, but since this is an older home without Central Air, they provide a small AC...

The service and attention to detail was as good as it gets. This Victorian mantis is worth the stay alone as it has been beautifully restored. If your planning a trip to Janesville take in the Rotary gardens and forget the hotel's and stay here.

The couple who run this B and B are very friendly and work hard to make a stay comfortable. We stayed in a suite on the second floor. It felt private and had a large bathroom with a large tub but no shower. The innkeeper gave us a homemade treat upon arrival as well as some wine. The house is...

Hi, Thank you for the nice review. We do try hard to make your stay a good experience. Just to clarify all of the bathrooms have showers. Two of the baths due to the tub have hand held showers and others are stand up showers.

My husband booked our wedding night at the Guardian Angel, and when I walked in the door on the most wonderful night of my life, the beauty and charm of this place took my breath away. It's vintage décor and immaculate housekeeping made this the perfect ending to our wedding day. Dr. Carol was there to greet us and made...

I stayed at the Guardian Angel again and it was another wonderful experience. Really enjoyed the wine and cheese tasting time and the delicious breakfast. The adjustable/massage Tempurpedic bed made watching the large flat screen television a real pleasure. The personal touch decorating by the owner is a must for everyone to see. It is a beautiful, unique place with...

I was on a trip from Chicago to destinations North in Wisconsin, and The Guardian Angel in Janesville provided me with the perfect launching point for a beautiful Fall colors journey in Southwestern Wisconsin. First, the place is beautiful and elegant, I love oversized woodwork from the bygone era, and this place has it in spades. Also, it is decorated...

My husband surprised me with an overnight stay here on our way back from The Dells. Carol and Don are excellent hosts! We slept on a Tempurpedic mattress, and the bathroom was completely stocked with toiletries. We missed Happy Hour (Wine and Cheese) because of traffic, so Carol gave us some small bottles of chardonnay! That made my night! We...

Beautiful historic home, decorated with love by the owner with many, too many to count, personal touches by the owner that make the guest feel a bit pampered. We were upgraded to the apartment because it was available which provided the greatest of comfort and relaxation. The art and decor gives one cause for pause to take it all in....

I have stayed there several times and I was very impressed.. The rooms are always neat and clean and well decorated and the meals are fantastic. Always fresh flowers with a desire by the owner to have your stay as special as possible. It is the best place that I have stayed at. I recommend it very highly and will...

This B&B is located in a very beautiful and impressive historic home. The owner was very pleasant. However, the housekeeping needed some improvement, particularly the bathroom. And it got pretty chilly at night.

My business was closed in December. Not sure what this is about or if mentioned wrong month. If anyone has a problem with the temperature if they let us know we would do anything we could to accommodate them.

“We stayed upstairs - the big room in front of the building and slept soundly. Very nice windows, complete with an air conditioner. Lots of sunlight!”

“I can only speak for the apartment which was very roomy for 3 of us. There is one queen bed but Carol suggested we bring a blow up mattress for the third person. Only thing to improve would be pull out couch for additional people but our blow up worked perfectly. Fully furnished kitchen and dining room as well. Again beautiful decor and art. And porch! Loved it.”
