Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Spent 3 nights here on a powered site.Sadly the weather was against us,cold and wet however we still had a good experience. Open fire when the rain stopped. Coffee on site if you want it. Gidgee on hand with any issues. Coin operated shower but $2 gets you a pretty good hot shower. Worth the visit. Thankyou

Our last couple of times passing through, we have found that the Gidget Bush camp cafe (well worth a visit) had also setup a mobile coffee van on the main road. This is most welcome if you are simply looking for a coffee as it is convenient and near to a couple of main road attractions, as well as amenities.

This is a great spot and would definitely return. Lots of animals for the kids to play with, good camping area, nice camp kitchen and heaps of fantastic art all around the area to see. We don’t drink coffee, but our friends said it was good. The family that runs it is also very friendly. We would stop over again.

The bush camp was amazing, it was dog friendly as well as family friendly. At feeding time the owner let the children meet the adorable baby goats and chickens. The camp kitchen was great for meeting the other campers and the fire kept everyone warm. The coffee shop doesn’t look like much on the outside but it surprised everyone as it was funky and groovy on the inside and the coffee and hot chocolate was a fantastic The Bush Camp is a must and amazing all around. - The Grego’s

What beautiful people to welcome you into their little town.. a great place for a family with kids with lots of animals to visit or if travelling with an adult group a sheltered kitchenette a wood stove and fire pit.. Not only are the hosts extending their home, the story behind their quirky coffee and bag shop is about keeping the small community connected with a meeting place and often fundraising for those in need.. clean drop loos , no shower but you can’t help but relax in this space.

Stayed here for 1 night. Best $10 we have spent, plenty of room, great atmosphere. The hosts lit the fire in the communal pit and wood stove at 4pm. You need to visit the longdrop after dark to see the led "spider" and it's web We had a look at the showgrounds, but the vans we very tightly packed

Just visited Total Coffee at Gidgee's Bush Camp. What a great place to sit, enjoyed the great coffee and home made biscuits. Beatifully peaceful in well presented sitting area of many old ountry artifacts. Could sit and loose yourself for hours.

Rather than camping at the town oval we decided to give Gidgees a try. What a pleasant surprise ! Although only recently opening this has been a work in progress for some time and this is a farm stay with a difference. The coffee is good and Gidgee and Mick are excellent hosts either at the coffee shop or around the campfire . While you're there check out Gidgees range of bags made on site. Enjoy! Noel & Lee
