I stayed on a Thursday with my mother. We went to see China Lights at Boerner Botanical Gardens, about 10 minutes away. Monica was a warm and congenial host and we enjoyed chatting with her at breakfast, along with the other guests. The place is beautiful with exquisite craftsmanship, clever interior decorating, and a comfy ambience throughout. Our bedroom (New... More

The Lawson House B & B is a delightful, historic home with old road maps, books, and framed pictures and advertisements that are from the 1920's (and possibly older). The New York Room, which we stayed in, was large, clean, and comfortable; it gave us the feeling of going to our loving grandma's house when we were kids. The window... More

We stayed at Lawson House for 6 nights over 2 weeks. It's a great place. Monica and Helen made us feel so at home and the breakfasts were just terrific. Their hospitality was so much nicer than a motel or hotel. We have told friends and relatives and will definitely be back whenever we are in Wisconsin. Dave and Ann

I loved this beautiful, comfortable B&B! It is a charming, large Craftsman style home. I stayed in the Wisconsin room and found it cozy and comfortable. The house boasts a lovely gathering room, cozy front porch, beautiful grounds, and great morning coffee! The innkeepers are friendly and personable, and the house is absolutely delightful. I took a vacation from my... More

We loved staying here! Beautiful, classic house; great owners. We stayed in the Prairie Room - gorgeous, big, a very comfortable bed and an in room fire place. Monica and Helen made the stay outstanding. Would stay here again and recommend it to a friend.

The boring cookie cutter rooms in most reasonably priced motels and hotels has started to get on my nerves, then we found the Lawson House B&B. Helen and Monica take the ordinary out of traveling. Set in a quaint 1914 cottage, you have the choice of three rooms decorated in different themes. My wife and I stayed in the "New... More

There is nothing on the south side near my parents' house and then I discovered Lawson House. Caring personable inn-keepers, amazing breakfasts. Lovely room. Highly recommended. this is a home away from home. GO THERE!

Julie and Jerry Zeimer have created a most interesting and comfortable B&B in Hales Corners, a charming town within an easy drive of the Milwaukee airport and Milwaukee sites. The home has fascinating decor and grounds are beautifully maintained. Fresh from the oven cookies greet you and sipping complementary wine on the enclosed front porch was a real treat. The... More

At some bed and breakfasts, you always seem to be reminded that you're staying at someone else's home. No so here. In fact, we rarely saw the owners, but the place ran like clockwork. Lots of great food at breakfast that satisfied everyone in our three-family party from kids to senior citizens. We loved the fresh fruit offerings every morning,... More

We arrived at this B&B in Hales Corners on a warm summer day ... the house itself is not air-conditioned, but the rooms have window A/C which worked fine to cool the rooms. We were welcomed by nice cookies in a dish and a note, and an entry code which worked great. Seeking something cold to drink, I soon realized... More
