I found Thorp House on Trip Advisor was pleased with the positive reviews. Everything written was true! The inn keepers were friendly and helpful. The place is spotless! The bed was comfortable and sheets were soft and of quality. There were drinks available 24 hours a day -- coffee, tea, hot chocolate, as well as soft drinks, and cookies were...

The Thorp house Inn was a very nice stay, our first visit to Door County and also first try at a B&B! The room was a little small, although enough space for our needs, cute little sitting area....the only thing we missed was a bathtub. Also, it would be nice to see the common rooms furnished in a usable way,...

This was our first visit to Door County but hopefully not our last. Thorp House was great. Spacious room, bed, and the staff were all friendly and courteous. Would highly recommend both Door County & Thorp House.

Great house. Our room was clean and nicely appointed. Small sitting area in the room was just fine for us to have a little wine and listen to some quiet music after dinner. Interesting and cozy public rooms downstairs--would have been even better if the fireplace was functioning. Breakfasts were tasty--little egg strata with a fruit serving and great muffins....

Lovely setting! Beautifully decorated and maintained. Was great being right in Fish Creek. We will go back. Wish breakfast had been more varied. It was Delicious though, staff helpful and friendly. Very quiet and just the peace we were looking for.

We've had the privilege of spending the last four Memorial Day Weekends in the Lark Cottage. We absolutely love it. Over the last year they've completely renovated the cottage and we were so surprised. Gone is the rustic, old charm, but in it's place is all new, beautiful décor, and updated kitchen and furniture. It almost seemed fancy and less...

Breakfast was well done. The cookies, soda, coffee and tea made available to us at any time was very nice. The room was decorated to reflect the time period when the house was built. The room we had was very small and we had difficulty finding room to put our belongings. The bathroom was very small and the toilet was...

Had a last minute idea to get out of town. I looked on the Internet and found Thorp House Inn. Excellent choice! We stayed in the Teal cottage. Very quaint and cozy! It had a newly remodeled bathroom and kitchen. The location was perfect for walking around Fish Creek. I'll stay again!

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and had both never stayed in a B&B type inn. It was great and we loved the atmosphere. Comfy beds, nice big jet tub and everything cozy. We only saw the innkeeper once or twice and the kitchen was closed during our stay. We knew it was off season when we...

We stayed in the beautiful Everill room and enjoyed the wonderful fireplace, whirlpool and furnishings. We also enjoyed the warm sitting room and fireplace on the first floor. The staff was very helpful and delightful to visit with. We enjoyed it so much, before we left we booked a cottage for the spring.
