My husband and I go to Door County every year around our anniversary in mid-September. I did my homework, I read the reviews, I saw the charming photos and the excellent price. Well let me just say, I was FOOLED. Our room upon check-in was located on the second floor, above the check-in office. The first thing I noticed was...

I am sorry you had a bad experience as most guests feel that it is a great place. Built in 1990 we updated bathrooms, flat screen tv's, now we do have new comforters and 4 pillows per bed. All of our linens are sent out to the professional laundry company who services most Door County resorts/hotels/motels. We will let them...

Room was very comfortable and quiet. Included microwave and refrigeratorand coffee maker. Very minimal continental breakfast. And one of the muffins we tried was moldy. We did not stay here for the breakfast however, so we had brought along our own food or ate breakfast out.

We stayed at the Parkside this past weekend. We enjoyed our stay there, nice walk to the coffee house, beach and garden, and very quiet at the Inn. It's near the tip, so handy for exploring that area, and others, Door County isn't THAT big !! Great spot for sunset watching just up the road. The two gentlemen at the...

Made last minute plans visting Door County for the Labor Day weekend. Out of all the places I checked online, this one seemed to be the most reasonably priced. I am happy to report that me and my family enjoyed our stay here. The decor and and ammenties were basic, which is all we were looking for since we would...

Clean, comfortable rooms - all the basics necessary for a weekend trip. Very close to nice beach, park and playground facilities. Continental breakfast of coffee and rolls hit the spot, friendly staff - my younger kids loved it.

My wife and I had the great fotune to spend time in Northern Door County, WI and at the Parkside Inn in Ellison Bay. What a wonderful little spot! Ellison Bay is a great central location for the northern end of the county: about 15 minutes from the "Tip-of-the-Thumb" & the ferry dock to Washington and Rock Islands to the...

We had a wonderful time at the Parkside Inn! My husband and I were visiting Door County for the first time while celebrating our wedding anniversary. The manager was very nice and he was very helpful. He told us all about the area and gave us great ideas on where to spend our time. It is true that Ellison Bay...

Rustic, for sure . . . no hair dryer, no iron, no phone . . . to give you an idea. Coffee available in the office at 7:00 a.m., if the manager remembers to get there in time to make it. This place needs work, or it will be off limits to anyone but the most frugal traveler. With the...

If you read the previous review, I am the sister with the smelliest room. It smelled like rotten food and I literally gagged upon entering the room. When I asked for a different room, the manager handed me an almost empty can of air freshener and basically said use this; we're completely booked. My car was the only car in...

We had stayed at this motel years ago a few times and it was nice. Well that was at least 15 years ago and they obviously haven't done anything to it since. The outside of the place looks nice and is very deceiving. The inside of the rooms, we rented 3 for varous family members, were old and outdated. All...
