Hi-Pines is one of the nicest campgrounds we've ever been in. Big sites, nice lodge/store/cafe, aqua park all right outside the tourist town of Eagle River. The showers were great - sounds funny, but believe me, not all camp showers are made equal. Good prices in a good place.

The park was very clean, gravel long level sites that were by the beach area. Bathroom/showers were clean. There was a little confusion on a pull in site.... We didn't think we should pull thru the grass so had to backed in. A wonderful place for kids. I do agree $50 for an overnight stay was higher than we had...

We apologize for the confusion on the pull through site is is normally our policy to escort each guest (especially new guests) to their site, and those sites are designed to drive on the grass and on to the pad. Our rates reflect the amenities that we have to offer, such as the 60 ft kangaroo pillow, bounce castle &...

We recently stayed 5 days/4nights at site 143. Love love love this place!!! So, this was our first ever family camping trip. Picking where to stay was overwhelming for 2 reasons: 1. There are a million campgrounds. 2. Our family has some difficult uniqueness - 5 BOYS!! (2 with mental/behavioral special needs). The youngest is under 2/oldest is 11. We...

One of the worst places I have stayed this summer. Very rude manager, over priced WET firewood, clogged toilets for days, water toys always deflating, the "store" was a joke and they will move your rental without notice. Not impressed!

The staff here at Hi-Pines Campground works very hard to make everyone's stay as wonderful as we possible can. The firewood is $5.00 per bundle (18" round) or $20.00 for 5 bundles. Due to the Emerald Ash Borer bug we do not allow any firewood to be brought in, however you are allowed to bring non-treated construction lumber to burn....

This campground had a very friendly staff. It was close to town which worked well as we had a wedding to attend. The campsite and store were clean. We would stay there again. Some sites have shade. Other sites are close to the large swimming area which would be great for kids.
