The location of the hotel spot on. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Pillows soft bed comfortable. Pool or hot tub. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would have no problem staying again, recommend to anyone!
Great place, and they are very tolerable with hockey teams. Our kids were 13 and 14 year olds. (No mini sticks allowed in the hallways.) The staff was great, friendly, and really connected with the kids. (A mutual love for Oshaberi works too.). The breakfast...More
The hotel is very nice. Because we stayed on a slow Sunday night we were upgraded to a suite. So, that was nice. The room was very large and clean. The bed was comfortable. However, it is very close to an active railroad track with...More

Hi Jack, I wish I had a solid answer for you. The trains are hauling frac sand from the mines north of us. When I talked to the UP reps a few years ago when this all started they told me that when there are loads to haul, they send the boxcars up. So there is never a set schedule. Sometimes there will be none, sometimes there will be 4 in one night. I can't give you an great answer, I can tell you that the 2 queen rooms (lower numbers) in this hotel face the back away from the tracks and they are the quietest in the hotel. I never hear any complaints from the guests in that area of the hotel. I hope this helps. :)

"The front desk put us on the second floor, which they said was quieter."
