We spent another weekend at Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort, and we continue to be extremely impressed with the facilities. The pool is always warm. The lake views are always amazing. The staff is always friendly. Best of all, we can get to the busy side of the peninsula (Fish Creek, Sister Bay, etc.) in about 10-15 min, but then... More

My wife and I just got back from a weekend stay at BHYC. The staff was extremely accommodating and our room was very clean. The views were great and of all the places I've visited in Door County, this was the best. As we drove back to Chicago we agreed we would be back and invite friends/family too.

We came to Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort by way of RCI, the association that provides for swapping our time-share in St. Martin, FWI. We stayed in the Fall, off season in Door County; the larger outdoor pool was closed. Our unit had two bedrooms with comfy mattresses-one king-size bed on main floor and second floor twin beds in the... More

One of our gem finds after 20 years of coming up to door county. This side of the peninsula is quiet and easy to get to the other side. This resort is super clean and some of the rooms is like being at home. Indoor/outdoor pool beautiful water views. The staff is super friendly.

We had a 3 night stay about a week ago and had a great view of Lake Michigan. This was a suite with a kitchenette, living room, a jack and jill bathroom and a bedroom. Living room had a gas fireplace that we enjoyed immensely. Coffee pot and coffee is provided and you can actually make a whole pot of... More

Our condo # 222 overlooked the water and the pool area. It was a spacious condo with a large balcony, gas fireplace and large bedroom and bathroom with a full kitchen. Daily housekeeping as well. We used the pool, hot tub and sauna. All were well kept. It was a bit of a drive to town. You will see a... More

I'll start with the downsides: 1. Second floor room no elevator. If you are handicapped, this would present a challenge. 2. Parking for the waterfront suites is separated by a building. A short walk. Now for the upsides: everything else. Great one bedroom condo, clean w lots of storage, full kitchenette, private balconies with bedroom and living room access, we... More

Great resort, got the first floor with view of Lake Michigan and the Sun sets. Very quiet, kitchen was updated with new appliances etc. Large indoor pool. Friendly staff. You will love this place. Try the "Coyote Junction Bar for great burgers and beer, also visit the "Fish House Restaurant " on the main street in town.

A little rough around the edges. I think that the owners should go through and take a look at the lack of attention to detail. At night the outside lights guiding the way to the front rooms are so dirty that they are DIM. If you are handicapped it certainly isn't the place for you. Difficult parking if you are... More

Hi Kathy, I'm glad you we were able to help you find a room that pleased you! If the view is your first priority, be sure to ask when you call and we'll take that into account when helping you chose your room. 103 is a nice large stateroom room with a few extra amenities and from the patio I... Well the location was nice. But there was no restaurant or bar. I wouldn't even call it an area where you could keep "yachts". The bed linen was less than par. The pillows were uncomfortable, bring your own. The sheets you might find at a Motel 8. Pool was very small. Rooms were very clean and the hotel is well-kept.

Thank Holly F
