We came to Snowshoe after riding the Cass Railway to view the fall leaves. The one bedroom was a little pricey for the season. With taxes, the room costs a little under $200. This is the second week of October and there is nothing open at the top of the mountain, except Foxfire Grille. The condo has a clean well...

We booked this location based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. Perhaps it was solely room 426; however the only positive I can say is housekeeping does an exceptional jobs on the room noting the age of this facility. After we checked in a wonderful representative pointed to two other locations to stay at for future reference. We had no...

The lodge is the perfect place to stay if you want a cozy room, close to the slopes! It only took two minutes to get from our room to the lifts and slopes. Our room had a sitting area with a timed gas fireplace We also had a small kitchen that was complete with dishes, a fridge, an oven, and...

The Rimfire Lodge location was great. It was close to all the shops and restaurants in the village. And a very short walk to the slopes! The ski lockers were very convenient. The room was larger than I expected and it was decorated very nicely. Kitchen had all we needed. The heated underground parking was the best! But it is...

These are not cheap but the price is worth it for the view and convenience. We booked a one bedroom in the North Tower. Bed was fine and the kids used the pull out sofa. Kitchen has full size refrigerator and enough room to cook if you want to. Each room has their own wifi but don't expect a signal...

My boyfriend and I have been visiting Snowshoe for the annual chili cookoff for several years now and we love staying at Rimfire. The rooms are a bit of a crapshoot, they are individually owned so they can differ with regard to things like decor, kitchen utensils, age of appliances, TV style (tube vs. flat screen) and such. Honestly, in...

My husband and I stayed at the Rimfire for a long weekend and were disappointed with our accommodations. This trip was a last minute decision so our room choices were limited. The condo we rented was individually owned and managed by Snowshoe so what you get does depend on the owner. Our unit was a "deluxe 1 bedroom" which was...

This hotel is within walking distance from the rentals and lifts! The building is old but the rooms are nicely decorated. Is not very clean though! The underground parking is good. The daily maid does not show up in a regular pattern, once in the morning once in the evening!

My wife and I stayed at the Rimfire for a week and overall were quite satisfied. These are individually owned condos managed by Snowshoe so what you get depends on the owner. Our unit was a "standard studio" and roomy enough for two and in a pinch another two could sleep on the sleeper-sofa. Don't expect luxury, but while our...

We had very good time. Room was perfect, decorated as lodge cabin, with elevator to each floor and Starbuck located in ground floor on village side. The whole complex create great walking are shielding off wind with many restaurants and bars for night life. The lifts are in walk distance. I would say this place is my favorite East coast...
