My friend and I stayed here for one night over Halloween weekend and had the best time. The owners, Lauren and Dave, could not have been more hospitable. So friendly and helpful. The inn itself is beautiful and the town was adorable. We will definitely be back. Thank you Lauren and Dave for a wonderful experience!

The owners of this charming bed and breakfast, Lauren and David, are so gracious and friendly! They make staying at this inn so very delightful. Clean, charming rooms, snacks and an inviting parlor and library room, absolutely delicious breakfasts. And the town itself is charming, too. It is the home of Shepherd University. My only complaint, one that cannot easily...

My husband and I stayed here in mid-October 2016 during the town's Renaissance festival, and we loved it so much that we already booked for another weekend this coming winter. The warm and wonderful innkeepers, Lauren and David, treated us like family, and their breakfast is spectacular! I have some severe food allergies, and amazingly, instead of having to pick...

I was biking from Pittsburgh to Georgetown. This is an easy ride off the C&O Canal trail. The host was very helpful and had me checked in with a little tour of the house in no time. My room was perfect with a spacious and comfortable bed. The bathroom was across the hall and private for me only; it was...

My husband and I stayed here for two days during the fall as a short vacation. We had a wonderful experience. The small things were really taken care of (tea and coffee, fresh baked cookies, etc...) which made the stay perfect for what we wanted. The breakfasts were amazing and the hosts congenial and helpful. The room was great for...

A B&B Inn built in the 1860's. The hosts were very inviting and gracious. Large sitting area on main floor. Library with spring water & balcony upstairs. Every attention to detail had been thought of throughout every square inch of the inn to make our stay wonderful. Our room was perfect and very clean. Large, plush towels. Comfortable bed. The...

Lauren and Dave were extremely cordial hosts and their house is lovely. We stayed in Room #1 (king bed) which was very comfortable but susceptible to the road noise at the 4 way stop intersection next to the house, and the Wi-Fi signal was a tad sketchy. The breakfasts were scrumptious and filling. The location of the house is convenient...

I stayed at the Thomas Shepherd Inn for one night during my bike tour along the C&O Canal. I couldn't recommend it more, as the accommodations were outstanding, classy & comfortable. There are a surprisingly diverse amount of shops and restaurants in Shepherdstown, which was perhaps the most pleasant stop along my trip. This Inn is the perfect place to...

Spent the nite while pedaling from Pittsburgh to DC with my daughter. The Thomas Shepherd Inn is a classic example of an American B and B. Many fine details to make your stay very comfortable. Great service, extremely comfortable beds and rooms, followed by an exceptional breakfast. Lauren and Dave are great hosts, offering lots of local info. Shepherdstown is...
