Nice little roadside hotel, clean room and bathroom, with a small refrigerator and microwave in the unit. Nice man runs the place, looks like he is putting a lot of effort into maintenance. The water isn't so good for flavor, soda machine is 75 cents a can.

My family has its roots in Hampshire County, and relatives have stayed at the Koolwink for generations. My great aunt ran a tourist home up the road on Route 50 in the 30s and 40s, and one finds the same downhome hospitality and friendliness in this very well maintained retro motel. Clean as a pin. Very quiet. Robert, the owner,...

I recently stayed at the Koolwink Motel for the second time in the past year & I highly recommend it for the following reasons: (1) It is a family-run business, which is a rarity in today's era of blockbuster chains. In talking to the manager on my visits, I can tell that he is passionate about what he does in...

I've stayed at Koolwink twice now. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean and do not smell. The bedding smells only like laundry detergent. There is very good water pressure in the showers and the bathroom spotless. I will definitely stay there again.

Stayed at the Koolwink while we were in the area for a night. Excellent choice. Very very clean with a fun retro vibe. No breakfast but there is a truck stop diner down the road that was great. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay and super clean. A little dated but the cleanliness far outweighs that fact. A definite stay when in the Romney area and needing a place to crash. Got in late but hotel staff were very accommodating.

This place looks like it was frozen in time, but impeccably clean! I was welcomed warmly at the front desk and the check-in process was pleasant and fast. Our room was so clean. Even the baseboards and bathroom grout were spotless. The bed wasn't the best I've ever slept on, but everything great about this place makes up for it....

This place is THE place to stay in the Potomac Highlands area of WV. Family owned and operated for generations, it has a 60's retro feel, is as clean as the home of the proprietors (which is spotless), and each room comes with a microwave, a small fridge, and a coffee maker. Very comfortable and parking at your room door...

This place was quite nice. It is quaint. It's kept up well. If you're lookin' for fancy this place is not for you. The location is practical. I checked a lot of places and their good price was not beat by any of 'em.

This is a quaint Motel meticulously kept and spotlessly clean. They provide all of the little amenities that make a stay very special. The Owner is very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to our next visit to the Potomac Eagle and to stay at the Koolwink.

Thank Robert Z
