My husband and I were to spend 3 nights but checked out after 2. Room was outdated (couch cushions so thin and worn, stained carpet, bed linens balled and worn). Bed was at least firm for good night's sleep. Hiking nearby was okay. Nothing around resort (no cute town for shopping or other options to eat). Food at resort okay....

This is the third conference that I have attended at this location for work, and they never disappoint. The lodge is wide, open rustic which fits the wooded, hilly location. I love the huge, stone fireplace and beamed ceilings in the lobby with cozy furniture set up in many small groups to allow intimate conversations and there is still room...

We stopped by on our way home from Charleston. I researched everything I could find about things to do and info about the resort.. we pulled in the drive and had to pay $5 to even get in! I've never seen a resort like that around here before. It's not like it was expensive, but there was no warning before...

A few lamps were not working. Sprinkler in bathroom was rusted and leaking water onto the floor. Carpet smelled of urine and had stains on it. Bed sheets did not fit the bed. Fitted sheet kept popping off the mattress. The outside walking trails are beautiful.

The resort is beautiful! They have a few camp sites that are nice and private by the lake with sturdy, raised platforms for your tent. Bathrooms are clean and the water is potable. Make sure to take time and walk the grounds. Lovely place.

This was the last night out of a two week vacation and we decided to upgrade a bit to the Stonewall Resort. It was as nice as most of the properties we stayed in but not exceptional. Dinner was good as was breakfast buffet. Chain hotels usually provide an included breakfast with room rate. This breakfast was much better but...

To start, I didn't pay for this. I was sent here for a business conference. I am, however, always on the lookout for a place to have a weekend getaway, and this isn't it. All of the staff members were really helpful and friendly and the items my colleagues and I got at the restaurants were very good. That being...

What a very nice place. Beautiful setting. Room was very clean and nice. I would definitely come again. Good food. A little pricey. Very nice pool area. They have a bonfire outside at the bar area every night for guest. We was told in the summer months they have a boat the takes guests around the lake on a hour...

We stayed at the lodge to attend a business banquet and awards ceremony. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet before leaving the following day the food was excellent and dining service was great.
