Horseback riding; fine or casual dining; tram ride down the mountain; PGA event golf course; hiking in the mountains, along the creek or by the lake; lots of deer; fireplaces in every cabin with wood provided; nature center offering crafts, education & training for wilderness exploration. One week was not nearly enough! Recently upgraded appliances, rooms very comfortable and staff...

We stayed here in a cabin years ago for a family reunion and I remember it being a bit worn but satisfactory for kids and activities. We came as a couple to meet with family and decided to stay at the lodge. Unfortunately our family gathering coincided with major construction. I was warned about the construction but not that so...

We booked this stay at the last minute for a family funeral. We were aware the resort would be a busy place. The cabins were completely booked but we were able to get a room for 2 nights 1 queen, 1 full size bed. Check in was smooth and the room was clean and comfortable. It was a bit dated,...

We didn't stay here so I cannot say much about the actual resort. But we stopped by and visited this park and I must say it is simply beautiful. Oh and the views? Be prepared to pull over and get out your camera quite frequently as there are some very nice views to be seen. Worth a stop if you...

I met friends here who booked a 2 bedroom cabin. They traveled from NY and I from NC. The cabin was comfortable, basic, clean, had almost everything you could need (no internet however) and well-priced. They are placed far enough apart to afford privacy and most are hidden among the trees, with back porches for relaxing. They have 2 golf...

Such a beautiful place to stay - rooms are nice - view is beautiful - lots of stuff to do or not if that's what you want. The observation deck is nice and the bridge makes a nice place to sit and chat and visit with friends. The restaurant isn't very good though - and it's way overpriced. Haven't played...

The hotel and restaurant were decent. This is not fine dining, but we had two decent meals and the rooms were clean. I had a balcony and the view was terrific. Our server for dinner, Robert, was very good. He had a great sense of humor. The surroundings were majestic. We only stayed a night on our way further south,...

Stunning mountain view s all through the park and from most lodge rooms. Huge outdoor pool really enjoyed by the grandchildren. Large dining room on premises with attentive and friendly staff. Only downside was on going renovation s but I guess that's really a good thing, keeping up the property. Would love to have taken the tram to the mountain...

The rooms need to be updated to start with. Checked in and everyone was friendly, after I got to the room I went in search of ice as I wanted to make a drink. After going to two floors only to find out the ice machines didn't work I called the front desk. They told me that out of seven...
