Service and breakfast at McKeever was very good. We stayed at Mountain Creek Lodge at the bottom. Tram rides each way from the bottom to the top. Pipestem itself, is a beautiful park with so much potential.

The staff at Pipestem were amazing considering we visited the property before Memorial weekend.We were upgraded to an amazing suite overlooking the Bluestone River. Hiking was amazing and is perfect to take in the WV country side!

I imagine you're talking about the McKeever Lodge? If you go to the Pipestem Resort website, hunt & you should find a virtual tour of a suite. It seems to show a balcony view of the gorge, but when we made our reservation, we specifically asked the person if our room had a view of the gorge. I'd suggest that you do the same.
