Well I have been to all the casinos in South Florida. This is the worst. Not clean. Very old tight machines, some so old they don't take "new" 5 year old bills. Snack bar is a joke. For a much better experience just go to Gulfstream down the road. Clean, modern, gorgeous statue of Pegasus at the front entrance and...

From our first steps into the hotel until we checked out, our experience at Mardi Gras Resort was fantastic. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and outfitted with comfortable sheets and pillows. Rooms are big with first-class furniture. Plenty of towels in the bathroom, which was also spotless. A bit pricey at $139 on weekends, but worth it....

The food was very good, we had sea bass that was excellent. They need better choices of wine. We were not able to have expresso because it is sold at the coffee shop- how dumb. The service was excellent , the price very high.

The Mardi Gras in west Virginia rooms were very clean and the people are very friendly and courteous. The Cafe Orleans had a "Big Burger" that featured three large patties, well let me tell you this, when they say three large patties, thats what they mean, it was so delicious but to much for me to eat at $6.50, unbelievable...

One of the nicer hotels that you can ever visit. The rooms are immaculate and the staff is friendly and will go out of their way to be sure everything is to your liking. The room rate includes a complimentary cooked to order breakfast. Always call the hotel direct for your reservation as some of the resellers were quoting rates...

Although I don't gamble much, I stay here whenever I'm in the area for business. the rooms are clean and very well priced. Tip: go to the casino and get a players card. You will get a reduced rate Sunday thru Thursday. Food is typical Casino Fare but the Mexican Restaurant at the top of this hill is excellent.

My husband and I stopped by on the through town to be gambling. We played several different slot machines. I won $200 on one spin on a quarter machine that I had bet 50 cent on ;) The casino wasn't smoky (we didn't even see anyone smoking). However, we both thought it was very warm in there and we never...

Went on Saturday night. Watched 17 dog races and was great. Food was good. Service was good. However it was slow and the kitchen staff should of been flogged. 60 min for chicken wings? We're good...but wt?. Stayed out of the casino. Too many toll booths in there.

I thought it would a lot nicer than it was. It was very clean. We weren't asked if we had a players card, but was later told by friends that we would have got a discount. We ordered room service and I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the Quarter House salad without bacon and received raw onions (menu described grilled)...

Was passing through West Virginia and needed a place to stay for the night. I tried booking this hotel online on my phone for a rate of $119 but I lost connection driving through the mountains. I called them as soon as I picked up a signal and they quoted the same rate over the phone and said they had...
